Don't get the Bonham selection at all. He's very poor
Chopping and changing keepers is very strange.

Am I right to presume we are saving ourselves for the cup. We have a very slight chance of making the play offs, we have no chance at all of winning the Cup. If that is his thinking, then he realy as lost the plot.

WTF is that ? The lunatics have taken over the asylum. It's shit or bust time and he goes completely negative, our best attacking players TC DWP JPB and Maja not in. The MON has totally lost the plot.

I thought Wednesday's team would dismantle Luton. Hope I'm as wrong with today's 'this is an 11 line resignation letter' vibe.

I’ve said I’d it before and I’ll say it again. We have the talent in the squad but MON hasn’t got a clue how to use it. Inevitable defeat on the horizon. The sooner he fucksoff, the better.

“First and foremost the performance was disappointing. We were a bit flat first half and second half we were really poor. I don't think we expected to see that. "We were great at Coventry and in recent weeks I think we've as been for a long time and that was the most disappointing thing. Andy Cousins tells Radio Stoke: "I think there was a different feeling after the game because there was huge disappointment from ourselves. We got sucked into a game that Luton wanted to play, which was basically like a rugby game, that we just can't play with the dressing room we have. We got bullied. We put ourselves in that scenario. "We've worked hard on how to play that type of game. A lot of teams are playing like that against us, especially when they come to Stoke. Boot you, kick you, go long, fight and scrap for what goes forward. "I think the worst thing when you sit in the changing room afterwards is to feel like you've been beaten up because you have to carry huge pride in that“ SO SIGN SOME FCUKING PHYSICALITY THEN YOU STUBBORN MULE!

Reverse psychology. We played a good team on paper vs luton and they were wank
We pick a wank team bs Bournemouth and with probably get something.
Or as mentioned we may be resting players for our regular pasting at palace.

I guess I will be taking my coffee 'avec' this morning.
so MONs gone ultra defensive for this one which is understandable but these constant changes to formation and team just won't work, especially with our lot.
He demoralized the team for Luton (his Birmingham was a bad draw comments) and now all of a sudden its 'I don't trust you lads' so now I am going back to a back 5. Smiths back in the fold, fox back in (so two bonafide fullbacks playing 'wingback'), Chester back in the fold, Clucas still in the fold.
Playing Powell/Brown up top is a waste as he already knows and we have seen time and time again.
I suspect we will get battered today despite him trying to get 9 men behind the ball. Touch of late stage Rowetts about all this. Just pulls some names out of a hat. Still FA cup is the focus this year.......

He’s given up on the league now - resting players for the cup?! I doubt that because he himself said that at least one of the top six teams always end up in the final. He’s playing a very defensive line up and hoping for a point or a lucky win.

Will 1,100 Stoke fans here today see a reaction?
Cousins: "It's funny. After the game I saw Nathan Jones's comments and he sort of mentioned that turn of fans at half-time which was obviously something he'd had wrote for a couple of years.
"That's not something we've found at Stoke whatsoever, they've followed us in numbers, rightly displayed their disappointment the other night because we were poor.
"But they get right behind this team and they will get right behind us today.
"We look in the dressing room. I got a couple of texts the other night from people at Sheffield United, staff we worked with at Luton and stuff like that and I think they forget how close we are to them.
"This is a group that will fight right to the death and we'll judge at the end of the season where everybody finishes but I'm still pretty confident we'll finish ahead of them."

Always something to play for?
Cousins: "Absolutely. We've thrown away a lot of games this year and we're not hiding away from the fact that we should be dead and buried but we're not. There are 14 games to go. If we lose today we won''t be dead and buried. If we win the majority of those games we'll be right in the mix.
"I genuinely think the difference to last season is that we actually have a squad that can win a lot of games rather than in probably in previous seasons we thought we'd be short or if we had a few injuries we'd be short.
"The big thing for this group is young and in the last eight games I think we've played the most players 23 and under.
"When we get to the end of the season between the manager and John Coates they are putting huge assets in the building. It won't stop for these players, it isn't rip it up and start over it's first game of next season continue everything that's been good about this season and hopefully fix things that haven't gone too well.
"We're in a great stage of the FA Cup and absolutely we can still get into the play-offs."

I can accept the other changes, but unless Bursik is ill, why drop him? I don't particularly rate him, but we aren't going up with Bonham and we aren't going down with either. Why don't we just use the young goalkeeper more and improve his experience, which is something he really needs. He's already as good as Bonham, he won't get better on the bench.

Change in goal
Cousins: "I think Jack did well when he came in. We've conceded a lot of goals and we feel Jack deserves a chance to fight to be our number one. It's as simple as that.
"Some of the other changes are forced. Jaden is injured and played injured the other night, which was probably evident because he's been terrific.
"Josh Tymon hasn't come through but hopefully isn't too bad.
"Unfortunately they're forced today.
"Josh Maja had Covid and probably looked like he suffered a bit from that the other night because he was a little bit off but hopefully with the benefit of that game will be able to help us from the bench today."

We've totally lost our identity under his leadership. That’s over the top. Prior to Luton, we were unbeaten in eight and playing well but dropped points due to stupid mistakes in defense. In all those cases, especially Luton, the players let us down not the manager.
