What will be will be now sadly any remaining glimpses of battling towards the top are extinguished. No, we'll still (hopefully) battle towards the top, but are only going to make it halfway there!

A million percent improvement on the Luton game playing 10 v 12. Still really frustrating though we lose it having being in front up to 85 minutes. I really don't like play acting from any player, but Brown could have spent far more time on the ground needing treatment. Dangerous play, yes VAR needed in this division, so frustrating and disappointing

Why would he be ashamed? His team has just won. I very occasionally wish serious harm on these individuals. Like, I wouldn’t mind if Scott Parker got stabbed in a random attack or accidentally got hit by a car. Then I remember it’s just football. Stoke have been getting stitched up for years by referees. Nothing new. Nothing to see. Maybe I’m becoming less and less interested in football after years of desensitisation. After many many many many years, you tend to not wish the ref was accidentally dematerialized and sent to mars. true though isn’t it? We always scream and rage and beg for justice but it never happens. Desensitisation at its finest.

The trick is to institute a consequence for it. see my question to Malcolm oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/303612/question-malcolm

facts remain the same. Points per match for this season now 1.33 which is well into 'sack em' territory and means MON is regressing annually.

For years now it has seemed as if there are a completely different set of rules for Bournemouth ,the decisions they get seem pre-decided. Neutrality just doesn't apply.

The Championship needs VAR. Consider the implications of today's ref debacle. If you are challenging Bournemouth for the top 2 spots their 3 points today were stolen from you. All 3 or 2 points will be the difference between automatic promotion and the playoffs.
On a managerial level, bringing Maja on when we have battled for 80 minutes was insane. He is 2 steps slower than Brown and far less motivated to press. Moving Baker up and bringing Chester on was the proper move. Clucas was the 2nd piece of the collapse. I like Mon and appreciate what he has done to stabilize the club but we are going nowhere without a younger, dynamic manager.
Promote MoN to run the club and manage the transfers but he is not the manager we need.

It’s a great question although I was thinking along the lines of a bunch of old Stoke boys rolling back the years and kicking the geezers front door in

Browsing BET 365 App, 81 minutes Bournemouth 10/1 to win match. Okay I’ll have some of that at a tenner. You just know don’t you.

Ref was poor, but we're still a mid-table side going nowhere in particular. Last 6 games we have had one poor performance against Luton, 3 excellent away performances against promotion chasing teams, beaten Swansea and would have beaten Birmingham but for a schoolboy error by THB. That is a team moving forward with Souttar to come back and Campbell and Powell getting up to speed there is more to come once the summer clear out is done

The football league seriously need to take action when it comes to refereeing in this division. Today we again had a referee who gave free kickcs and cards for everything in the first half, but in the second half he certainly decided that he had been to soft in the first half. The tackle on Brown was really awful, but he didn't even give a free kick! This is more the rule than exception in this league, and I'm really baffled after every game how it's possible to be that bad. It's like they've never done it before, and they have certainly not played any football themselves!

Play to that standard and we are fine, the ref robbed us with a silly decision, it is when we play deep sitting teams that we struggle.

That was worse than the Huddersfield one on us that was unanimously agreed to be a horror tackle. How was it missed/ignored?
