Sadly just another in a long line this season.
4 of our worst-ever XG totals have come in home games in the last 2 months.
That second half was just embarrassing. Our XG was 0.10 until the 85th minute. So slow, one-paced and predictable. A shambles.
And with supposedly our best XI out there.
0.08 3-1 Brentford A (18-19) Jones' first game 0.14 5-0 Chelsea A (17-18) 0.19 0-0 Derby A (20-21) 0.21 0-2 Man City H (17-18) 0.22 1-1 Leicester A (17-18) 0.23 1-2 Luton H 23rd FEBRUARY 0.24 1-1 Newcastle A (14-15) 0.27 1-2 Derby H 30th DECEMBER 0.27 0-1 Blackburn H 27TH NOVEMBER 0.28 2-0 Pboro H 20TH NOVEMBER

At least we didn’t throw away any points from a winning position tonight. Small steps and all that.
I presume this is the ‘progress’ certain people keep banging on about?

No game plan, no shape, no motivation, no plan of attack. Weak as piss defensively with two shite loan signings there, can't take a set piece, can't get a shot on goal. Fucking wank. It's the managers fault, the talent is there, time to go The managers fault yet you slate our two centre backs and criticise players for not being able to take a set piece or shoot at goal, then say the talent is there all seems contradictory.

MON says he didn't want us to allow the game to turn into a second ball game. True, but inevitably it will at some point, and you have to win those second balls. The difference in body language on the sidelines between Nathan and MON said it all about the will to win that game.
And Tymon, was bad today. Their left back kept Campbell quiet against enormous pressure. Tymon had little to do, but he somehow messed it up every time.
Same old story with us in this division. We think we're better than we are when in fact we are the same if not worse than most. Luton have spent a lot. They're good and they work hard too. In the moments that matter we just didn't want it enough.

The manager wants his arse handing to him for that. 60 odd minutes of whacking the ball up to Josh Maja.
I could literally cry.
Not acceptable in any way, shape or form Michael.
These games highlight his main area of weakness. He spoke about it being a back 5 from Luton and a long ball game and what did he do? Nothing.
He needs to learn how to duck and dive in this league and rough it out, and eek out results.

I genuinely thought we had seen the last piss poor lack lustre performance this season - boy was I wrong. That was just plain turgid drivel - we played like a bunch of complete competition winners

The attitude of the players was disgusting, the lashing out at several times was pathetic, this wasn't showing fight it was showing them being spoilt brats who don't like things going their way

I'm really upset about this performance. So disjointed and lacking in any cohesion, strategy, planning or intent. What were we thinking???? It's like we just have to turn up to win! Bitterly disappointed with this. Serious questions have to asked throughout. I thought we had a good transfer window in January, offloading players and saving some money Maybe too many incoming players , we’ve stopped playing as a team for some reason Yes, good assessment. We haven't played as a team too many times this season, which is odd because there have been a few games where we have been really cohesive too. I want to see Sawyers back in the team, I think he's the best passer of a ball in the squad, and we need to be a lot better in the passing department. Extremely wasteful and sloppy last night throughout.
