Mate, you’re deluded. Genuinely. I think the fact that so many posters on here find you exasperating is quite telling. You’re either completely lacking in self awareness or just enjoy winding people up. Either way it’s a little bit sad. I couldn't care what anyone thinks about me or my opinions because usually in about 6 months people generally start agreeing. Happens way too often. So I'm good. Keep moaning about people hiding when you do the same “…because usually in about 6 months people generally start agreeing…” Deluded.

Can be 12 months if people are being particularly slow to realise it's actually bad. See Hughes. I love Hughes, my favourite and imo the best Stoke manager of my life. But so many think I hate him because I wanted him gone early (not the people that wanted him gone straight away). That imo is how it should be. Cut throat. I like MON tbh. I just don't think he can take us forward.

I was going to say that maybe it's because, historically, we're more successful at home than on the road and more people would be at the game if it was a home match. But that falls down when you see that our recent away record has been better than at home.
Of course, maybe we could just take this forum for what it is without the need for in depth analysis- a light-hearted football messageboard where some people have a bit of a rant after a poor result 😎

It’s not rocket science. Losing is a far more emotive result with more people being upset.
Therefore they are more likely to feel the need to vent those frustrations with people who car just as much about the subject matter.
I admit there are a number of posters who turn any subject to a certain end they keep churning but on the whole people are gutted when we lose and happy when we win.
But Stoke City, in the championship, should be winning more than we lose or draw, it’s that simple, so it’s is far more of a bad thing when we lose, than it is a good thing when we win.
Not hard to grasp.

It’s the exact same thing. People hide. It’s strange. Huh? People hide after a shit performance? Isn’t it just that we’re a bit miserable and less inclined to post? Why would you hide!? It’s an anonymous internet messageboard. Who exactly are people hiding from? Hiding from all the shitmongers who seem to revel in us doing badly. Some of them post a mile a minute during a game, "x is crap, Another mistake from Y, MON doesn't have a clue, etc, etc, etc. Then we score and hey presto amazing silence....... until the opposition score when the faucet is turned back on!

There is a big "Told Ya So" brigade who come out when we lose. Why do u people get pleasure out of being right about something bad happening on an ANONYMOUS messageboard?!?! Exactly! And then call those who try to see the positive side "deluded fools" Hell, anyone following Stoke for the glory of winning things must be a clinical idiot. In their view of "supporting" Stoke, many of us have wasted 40,50,60, and even more years of "being happy"!

To be fair you don’t usually start threads. You just hijack them and make them all about you and your slightly peculiar opinions. No, I reply to people who are replying to me. Hang on a sec, if you don't start threads, and you only reply to people who reply to you, how come you've made more posts than just about anybody else on this board?

Easy...One scenario where that is a numerical possibility is that one post receives ten reactions which are then replied to. Hence 1 reply made by 10 people and 10 replies made by 1 person. Kind of how a high R number works.. something we are all far too aware of nowadays.

If he never starts a thread, and only posts in reply to people who reply to him (which is what he said), then in theory he should never post at all
