"You've got the love" by whoever the latest artist is that tries and fails to make it sound good. It's just a horrible song.

Any record with neither melody or groove
Any record featuring nonmusical sounds or excessive ad-libbing
With a few notable exceptions, anything by so-called boy bands or girl bands (the usage of the word band in such context being a mis-suse of the word band)

Imagine by John Lennon.
The worst abortion ever shat out by a musician.
Chapman should have emptied the full clip for that song alone.

Also any record featuring excessive random soloing or instrumental fills, especially on top of vocals.
As an example, I simply cannot listen to Astral Weeks without thinking it's totally ruined by the random flute playing scattered all over it.

Tina Turner - Simply the Best. Horrific. In fact all her music is wank. Bryan Adams - Any of the pock faced Canadian twats music makes my ears bleed. Cher - Another one who I can't stand. Scorpions - Winds of change. Wank. Every single Heavy Metal song that's ever been written can fuck off as well, along with all the sweaty long haired freak shows who wrote them. There's loads more I could mention as well, I've been alive for nearly 50 years now and there's been far too much wank music made in that time to remember it all ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/0m0lbCuTEBzaRn6f8QaM.gif)

Any of that sampled shite. Take someone else's song and stick another bit of a song or music with it.
Any rap music. All garbage.

Young at Heart by the Bluebells makes me reach for the off button straight away. Anything by James Blunt. Whiny voiced twat. Anything autotuned and any boy/girl vocal group (they're not bands) apart from Sugarbabes, quite like them!😳

In the early 1990s my party trick was to put this on the duke box, and empty the Black Friar in Newcastle. Apologies to those that like it 😁 I was generally too pissed to care what was on the Juke box in the Friars back in the early 90s. No need for an apology

Hate to say this with him recently passing away, but anything by Meat Loaf. Top bloke though, not disputing that side of him.

I cannot agree more, if not on your chosen target, but on the manner in which artists should be "held to account" if they offend anyone's ears. It's about time that we accepted that summary execution by an individual, however "mentally challenged", should be applauded and held up as an example which we should all seek to emulate. I bet those kids in Dunblane sang "The Frog Chorus" at least once. They deserved everythhing that they had coming to them. In the same vein, I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that anyone publishing "drill music" should ne publically stabbed. I can't be alone in thinking that the government are missing a trick here. If properly promoted, amd ticket prices are kept at a reasonable level, these events could swell the public purse in these uncertain times.

Easy targets are anything nominated for the Brit Awards and your staple commercial radio station fodder (which are more or less the same thing anyway)
An individual song though that would have got me leaving on the spot, Billy Joel's Uptown Girl. Just fucking awful.

There are some absolute BANGERS in this thread!
I can't stand the following:
Perfect 10 by the Beautiful South My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion (I've never watched Titanic either) Tragedy (and a few others) by BeeGees Choke by Feeder (my favourite band, but I skip this song) 2 Become 1 by Spice Girls Dancing in the Moonlight by Foploader Blue by Eiffel 65 She's So Lovely by Scouting for Girls (the only live band I've walked out on) Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus
Morrisey, U2, Coldplay (they have some okay tracks), James Blunt (I quite like what I've seen of him but not his music), Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran...
Most music with autotuned vocals. Believe by Cher is an exception. I like that one. The original autotune and so OTT it works great.
There's loads of unlistenable popular music these days, and loads of stuff that's so boring and samey.

Much easier to pick songs you don’t like compared to being asked your favourites. I take a bit of umbrage with Morrisey, he’s done some decent tracks, so have Coldplay in the embryo stage

And The Smiths too - The Queen Is Dead is a good album apart from his voice.

A connection between the 3. John Lennon solo shite close behind. Beatles next Would rather listen to two gay Tree Lorises having arse sex than any of the above
