Watching him playing that ball actually made me sick. Although, what made me totally lose it was him trying to, at least by the looks of it, blame it all on young boy THB. Not impressed. Fuck off. Have you actually watched the goal? The ball was passed back to him by Smith with a player closing down, he makes a quick decision to pass and does so accurately to a free THB who is rapidly closed down and turns to pass to almost the centre circle. You could argue that both could have hoofed it but we are trying to move away from that game especially when we don't have a forward who can win headers. That wasn't why we conceded we'd cleared the ball almost half way with time to regroup. Our defending from that point onwards was atrocious. Backing off allowing the Coventry player to advance to a shooting position, no harrying, no attempt to block the shot. Coventry showed how to turn the ball over by pressing, we walked backwards and watched. I can't tell from the replays how close the shot was to Bonham but I did see he made at least 3 saves in the highlights.Hardly Bonham's fault then and those people questioning the sale of Davies have very short memories. In his last match he made a much better job of handing the points to Derby than Bonham did last night. Stop looking for a scapegoat and admit the whole team were atrocious. No highlights of us attacking? I guess we didn't then as Sky always try to show at least one attempt per team however weak that attempt is.

Chester passed the ball straight to their attacker right infront of the goal in the first half and we luckily got away with it. I'm not saying we should be hoofing the ball away in that situation but the passing lacked precision all game and was an accident waiting to happen. It was another example of the team failing when we are subjected to an opposition that pressurize us. Coventry we nothing special at all.. we were just WORSE.

I agree but we don't know if someone or who coming in yet, it's an odd decision though if another doesnt come in.
Personally I thought Davies was a decent keeper

I'm just flabbergasted how we go from last Saturdays performance to what we saw yesterday. Some on here would barely count the game v Hull but for what it's worth I thought we looked a very exciting side against them as well, I thought we played really well in that game. Cruised them. But yesterday? WHY and HOW and it is not the first time this has happened we look a different fucking football team depending on what exactly I do not get it

I thought he was steady tonight. Haven't seen the replay for the goal so can't comment on that. Handling was ok and made a couple of saves. Somebody mentioned that he has cost us in 2 games now. I think that may be a bit harsh. I don't recall any major gaffes v Fulham and not seen a replay of tonight's goal. From what I have seen of him so far he is not much worse than Bursic and Davies. Suggest you watch the replay for the goal He has one job to do Done that twice now but both replays from same camera angle from half way line. Nothing from behind the goal or behind the scorer. Can't see any obvious error from that single camera.

It was atrocious defending. What Chester was doing i have no idea.

Look at Chester in the build up. We nearly got punished for the same in the 1st half, but Bonham pulled off a good save.

I think Bonham should probably have done better in terms of saving the shot but as errors go, it is debatable if it is one.
In many senses, if it was an error it was a near identical error to the one the Fulham keeper made in letting Baker's strike fly in.
As others have said, the camera angle makes it a bit of a moot subject. You tend to think he should have done better because it was from far out and didn't go in the corner.
However, as others have said, quite what Chester was doing is anyone's guess.

With this team, G Banks would struggle.
