It is blatantly obvious that O'Neill's strengths are more to do with the financial business management of the club, rather than the football side. His signings have mainly been poor, with the very rare exception, so potentially Director of football isn't the right place for him either. In my opinion, he is very limited and has had long enough and it's time to step aside and go. The biggest issue then remains as to whether the Stoke board could identify and appoint a decent replacement. It's pretty depressing stuff really and it's been like this for years now.

He had a free pass last season with no crowds. Not so lucky this season, which is looking like a carbon copy December onwards.
We look a worse side now- with his own squad- than in his first few months in charge. Can you see this team scoring 5 at Barnsley?

As long as he keeps playing Chester 6 is his highest score. Against Coventry I don't think he deserves more than 3.
