Might be why we were rumoured to be trying to do a deal for a German striker?.

Am I the only one not bothered if Fletcher left? I know he's a decent player but he's hardly ever fully fit and has only 3 goals in 19 appearances this season. While Brown gets stick for 6 goals in 26 appearances in the league? I didn't think I'd ever say this a few months ago but Ince didn't deserve to be dropped for the last game and is rightfully back in the side. I think its more his hold up play and ability to bring others into the game we'd miss, if he went and was replaced with similar I don't think anyone would grumble. Much as I love Fletch & Brown I can’t see either of them starting next season if we’re to be serious promotion contenders.

Good chance to see how well Baker does a bit deeper?
Feeling hopeful for this lad.

Who are the Joe haters going to lay into tonight🤔🤣 One guess🤔 Whoever plays poorly, as it should be. It's too bloody tiresome carrying an agenda around. Its probably pretty tiresome to keep accusing people of agendas too (not you), I don't don't get it, you can either rate a player or not.

We do have a defensive problem every time Chester plays, can't O'Neill see how slow he is, because the opposition certainly can !! Given Wilmot is not fit I think Chester edges it for me. Fox has been woeful on the few games he played, particularly going forward. If we need to win half our games Fox isn't the answer to any question in a three. Fingers crossed Wilmot is fit soon or better still we have wiggle room for a young left sided CB.

Cast your bets. What minute will Chester give his standard goal per game for the opposition?
I’m going for 43mins

Mystified with that I must admit. Was hoping to see Chester, Clucas and Brown benched.

He bloody loves Chester doesn't he! Nice to see a line up without Allen mind. Yeh at least we got 9 on field today instead of 8 😃

I believe Chester is respected & liked by the other players and is a character and leader on and off the pitch which would explain why MON plays him so much and is the replacement Captain in Allen's starting eleven absence.
Not my words, purely what I've seen and heard about him.

I think if we can keep it as they are not beating us, then I think our strong bench wins it for us tonight

Chester surely must have photos of MON attending Johnson’s birthday party and blackmailing him..... Just pathetic if he, well when he screws up tonight MON can do one for me and get me started on Clucas 😡😡😡😡 Stoke 2-0

Midfield looks a lot stronger without Allen Defensively I think it looks weaker. Time to see if Baker can play the holding role alone.I guess MON thinks he can. To be fair I think he's picked a team with an eye on Friday. He did say Allen and Chester were unlikely to be able to play both matches. He's kept Wilmot out to give him more recovery time before playing him v Huddersfield I suspect. Ashamed to say I know nothing about the Coventry players and don't know what their midfield is like but I assume MON would rather play Allen on Friday.

Not my words, purely what I've seen and heard about him. Yep, my Villa mate said he was loved there, by fans, players and manager alike and was instrumental in the dressing room when they got promoted - he suffered a bad knee injury that season in January though. If f Harry and Wilmot were fit he'd be on the bench, and Fox hasn't really found any form since returning from injury.

Would have preferred Joe to Clucas in there Its a choice between a kick in the balls or a knee in the nuts, isn't it? Whereas Chester is both plus a stamp on the head!

Weird team, but I said that before Hull and we were great. Anyone know why it’s not on red button? All tonight’s other games are somewhere on sky Because it’s a rescheduled fixture and the games from that week weren’t televised so that arrangement still stands for our game.

My Bro who is a Villa fan said Chester was a great player for them but they made him play through numerous injuries and alot of that time he was playing with pain killing injections. I remember my bro saying he's a great player but they've let him leave to us broken! Don't think his prediction was far wrong.
