Bonham 5 - nothing much to do but what he had to do did pretty badly
Harwood-Bellis 7 - always looking for a pass rather than hoof it and good defensively Jagielka 7 - reads the game so well Chester 3 - an absolute liability, can't keep carrying these error strewn players
Smith 5 - looked like he was treading water throughout the game, didn't get forward and struggled to get back at times. Tymon 7 - always a dangerous outlet, shame his game is always nullified by the need to cover for the useless Chester.
Clucas 6 - another performance of absolute averageness Allen 5 - another performance of absolute nothingness and misplaced passes Baker 8 - a midfield player who wants to drive forward whenever he's on the ball, how long before we knock that out of him?
DWP 9 - absolutely superb, a player that you want the ball to come to and you genuinely think things can happen. Brown 7 - Yes we all know his weaknesses but his closing and pressing from the front was missed when he went off!!
Ince 5 - reverted to the Ince we all know, fancy flicks and nothing else Campbell 5 - always on the back foot Bidace 7 - a breath of fresh air, I think him and DWP between them will have a big influence for the rest of the season

Just out of interest didn’t anyone see Allen’s involvement in both goals (in particular the 2nd) or was it the odd bad pass was seen?

The second goal was an absolutely superb strike by Baker following an assist by Tymon wasn't it? The first goal was a lovely volley by DWP following a cross by Tymon. So to answer your question, no.

VERY generous for Clucas and Allen I think 6 is fair for Allen to be honest. He gave away an awful pass in the second half, but was pretty reasonable defensively for a change. I'm no fan of Joe Allen, but till we get a better player for the part that is his, he is absolutely essential to the way we play. He's also the one who makes a lot of calls on the pitch, the kind that the manager doesn't make, because he can't be heard, or, because he doesn't have the personality to keep shouting all the time. Joe's defensive role is not the kind that will get you high ratings with fans. He does a lot of work that don't get noticed by all. He has somehow managed to build up a degree of unpopularity, so if he makes a simple mistake, some people promptly lose their rag. But take him out of the team and you'll quickly notice that something is missing. It's possible that Baker could be a long term replacement for Allen. Not short term, because at the moment we need him to have the freedom to make late runs and score goals. But when Powell is back, Vrancic plays his part upfield, and Sawyers does what he does, we could deploy Baker in a deeper role.

Horse shit, he spends time gobbling off when team mates say fucking he'll mate what the fuck was that, was that a pass to.me and ffs Joe ad the opposition dance around the box and shoot on target. That's not leadership that's rank incompetence. Aka Joe allen

I'm going to make a special mention for Smith. Got down the wing when he could, perhaps not the threat that Tymon sometimes is but what he does which Tymon doesn't is cover for his centre half. Several times yesterday THB was pulled over to the left or chased a player/the ball out of position and I thought that he'd left space for them to exploit only to see Smith in that right centre half position. Very underrated on here sometimes. As I say Chester doesn't get that cover from Tymon and although his cross in the first minute was brilliant I felt a bit disappointed in him afterwards. I hate him cutting in.

Yes I was at the game sitting on the half way line where I get a very good view of what the wing backs are doing and seeing what they do off the ball as well as when they have it.. I'm not criticising Tymon but thought Smith had his best game for a long time for us. Did you read my comment? Defensively Smith is better which maybe why Chester gets so much criticism. I do hate Tymon cutting in he's much better when he goes wide and crosses and that brings defenders out of the box too.

Didn’t get to watch the whole game but that move where he caught the ball just right to flick it past his man, turn onto it and arrow in a shot on the half-volley was bloody amazing. He may have other deficiencies but the lad’s got some serious skill.

Bonham 5 - not strong enough for their 3rd, probably didn't have a save to make all game
Harwood-Bellis 6 - got in Jags way for the 1st Fulham goal, but steady Jagielka 7 - experience shone through Chester 5 - nowhere near as bad as some on here make out, but we do need an upgrade
Smith 6 - steady defensively but ALWAYS turned back when going forward Tymon 7 - 2 assists and plenty of energy
Clucas 5 - better 2nd half but anonymous for almost an hour Allen 6 - great ball to get us going, good energy and understanding with baker, couple of poor passes that have been highlighted to death Baker 8 - energy in midfield, something we have been crying out for, and a superb strike
DWP 7 - great finish, great movement but a bit lightweight Brown 6 - creates spocae for others, wins lots of headers, is better alongside Fletcher
Ince 4 - ran around a bit Campbell 4 - didn't run around much Bidace 7 - direct and dangerous, nearly sneaked us a goal (twice) and probably contributed more in 10 mins than Clucas did in 90

It has to be said he's one of those players who doesn't need the title to do the captain's job. Just takes on the responsibility when he sees the need.
