It's calculated over a 3 year period If they continue as they are then yes they will breach they have to slash their budget which usually results in relegation Are there any FFP rules in Leagues 1 and 2? There was a Salary Cost Management Protocol but I thought this was scrapped after the PFA won a court case challenging it Ah Probably right there in which case Vales budget slash will still probably result in relegation but no sanctions from the EFL How long a contract did they hand out to Clarke? 5 years was it? Going to get ugly up there pretty quickly next season

Begging bowl will be out soon Championship ready.... More likely the Premier League. The Northern Premier League.

But I thought making losses and owing your owners money was fine?

I think I’ve just heard Radio Stoke reporting Vale have made a loss. £1.1 million loss £5.5 million owed to the clubs owners They are making redundancies left right & centre behind the scenes and apparently they cutting the first team budget for next season too Relegation next season then 🤞 Given his record as a lower league manager (several promotions) Clarke can do much better than the unwashed

But I thought making losses and owing your owners money was fine? It is if your owners are happy with it and have got it, they won't be and haven't...

But I thought making losses and owing your owners money was fine? Allowing owners to invest by providing equity is very different to funding from loans linked to another of an owner’s businesses as the club is exposed to additional risk of the other business. If the unrelated business starts to struggle, financial pressure can quickly get out of hand. See for example, Derby County, Bury and Notts County.

But I thought making losses and owing your owners money was fine? I think the money needs to be gifted by the owners to be ultra safe.
