Ended up going late and got tickets with the home fans, figured it wouldn't matter as we'd lose anyways and it'd be a shite day. Instead I have to watch everyone having a class time, and I miss our first because I'm sat behind a fuck off pillar. I feel your pain me and my lad were in the block to right of the away end. Only consolation was both the win and also that for some bizarre reason home tickets were £18 for an adult and child (£50+ in away end)

Was great to hear the songs dedicated to ex Stokies, love them games when all the greats including Fuller, Sidibe, Kenwyne etc get their songs sang. The 'Bass' song in away games on the build up to Christmas is always a favourite as well & sounds great! Please don't mention KJones in the same sentence as "great", and certainly not in the same breadth as Ricardo Fuller... i'd stick him alongside those in the "lazy mardarse" file instead.

Day started badly as I had to negotiate rail replacement services from where I was travelling from - which wasn't smooth at all. And in the past bad rail replacement services have meant one thing - a wretched day out. On the contrary this time however. Managed to sneak in a home fans only 'Spoons where a small cluster of well behaved Stokies were dining with wives etc. Thornbridge Jaipur on at 1.99 a pint, can't fault that and for a 'Spoons wasn't bad at all. Then onto the football, after going countless London matches (apparently 32, stretching back to 2014), we finally come away with the goods. As usual with a good performance mostly all round good performances from the players, Allen and Davies being stand out examples. Good sing songs and skip in the step for the journey back, which thankfully I took an alternative route to avoid said buses. I hope I don't have to wait until 20-bloody-28 for the next one!

Always makes me laugh when our fans sing the Kenwynne song and then moments later sing the Odemwingie one. Make your minds up lads - is KJ to be lauded or is he "a useless cunt"?

Of the five goals we notched in the FA Cup semi, Kenwyn's was my favourite - Pennant outrageously robbing their left winger of the ball, the perfect through pass to KJ, a three goal lead. ... Bolton fans heading for the exits after just forty minutes .... Paradise !

Away games are becoming a must this season. If we can keep the numbers up and support strong, who knows! We just need to work on our home support - could do better as my old school reports used to say.

That's nuts. Is that the one where Wigan chipped the keeper from near halfway? What was that guy's name, Figueroa or something?

Sure we all thought he was great when he tucked that goal in v Bolton at Wembley & wheeled off to do his somersaults just prior to half time. One of the select few to score in a game at Wembley in a Potters shirt. Agree, perhaps he's not classed as a great but only added him on the end of that list as remember his song being sung. Still to have a song still sung about him 8yrs after he departed says something. He definitely had potential to be a great but sadly rarely ever produced his full greatness consistently enough. On his day he was unplayable.

I will say, sat next to a bloke and his adult son who both immediately clocked I was a Stoke fan and we had a great chat about our respective players. It did get harder and harder to defend us as we kept going down feigning injury as time went on mind

We have brilliant away support and I applaud those that give their hard earned money to follow our club.
But my god, we need some new chants.

We won in London! We saved a penalty!
Better get my camera ready - on the lookout for a flying pig next. (Other than just Wenger on a plane)
