What an amazingly frank interview (seriously ironic smiley), very skilled to say so much yet say nothing.

It’s staggering how much money we’ve pissed up the wall on forwards, Afobe, Berahino, Vokes come to mind in this division and we’re still at square one whereby we couldn’t hit a cows arse with a banjo, laughable to think Surridge was the answer, we go from bad to worse then rinse and repeat.
There’s games where we should be out of sight scoring wise, waste the chances then comes the inevitable cock up at the back and we end up with nothing

Afobe and Vokes never made sense at the price paid, Berahino was a gamble worth taking at the time, if we had turned his career around like we did with Arnie we would have easily doubled+ our money.

I never understood the Afobe deal. Buying someone who had literally just been bought by a premier league outfit that window and doing so for more money.
He has a lot of raw attributes in those athleticism categories, but not much else. If he was earning what Surridge was on, I would probably be happy to see him here, but he’s probably among the top 3 earners of the club now.

That we bought in Afobe and Vokes despite having Diouf and not playing him was bonkers. He’d still do a job for us now. He was as good in the air as Vokes when in the box and he had the work rate of Brown. That said, maybe he lost interest in playing for us after years of mismanagement.

Who would you rather have up front, out of the two? Rather have Norman Stanley Fletcher up front than Afobe I would have Horrible Ives over that useless article, Afobe

And it was a gamble worth taking £10m or £12m for someone who had been on the edges of the England squad if we had been able to turn his career around you would have been looking at £30m+, its the same gamble we took on Arnie just a bigger fee.

Plus, the Berahino thing still provides a good laugh for Pulis. . .

Notched a couple the other night to see off Huddersfield. Remarkable how close to the playoffs Millwall are now, although I don't think they'll make it.
Is Benik as sh!t as we've made him out to be? Rowett seems to be able to get the best out of him, but he was fucking useless under all our other managers.
His record is actually not that great, he's not prolific by any means, but I suppose under the right manager and system he's a 12-15 goal a season striker. I'm assuming he can't play this weekend thank f@ck.

At least he knows where the net is. Better than most of what we have to offer at present. Can't do any worse.

I was not Diouf's biggest fan but I'd have him up top, wide right, or maybe even RWB over any of the current lot. In fact - lump him in at Right Back 😁

Can he play against us though? I think in the Champo March it’s not a regulation, it’s down to the clubs to agree as part of the deal. I could be wrong. You’d assume if that was the case, it would be standard practice not to want your own player playing against you.

One of the wankest strikers we’ve had. Possibly but if the question is who is better I’m not sure there’s any evidence to suggest the answer fletcher , surridge , Madje, amend paring with £5m in the getting to it , it’s all well and good celebrating players bein moved out but if the replacement is no beetle or worse as was feared at the time then trouble awaits , Baht v Moore , another one

I've never understood why he's ever been rated beyond league one, he's never been a high scorer.
