That bloke is off his tits. I say it every time I see something about him, but I simply don't get how anyone can wish him well after what he did here. He tried his best at a club that was a total mess, it wasn't the right time for him given his lack of experience and the way he wanted to play, just too much to sort out for him.

He’s obviously been on the magic mushrooms again. That's why he's talking shitake yet again.

Won Serie A every season, 4 cups, Ballon D'Or shortlist whilst there, made the FIFPro World XI there, most assists in Serie A whilst there and then sold him back to United for £89m Jordan Clark scored a goal in the Championship last season.

I wish we could beat someone 5-0. It would be even better if that team were second in the league😉

Milner to Liverpool was a shrewd free transfer

There's a table on the BBC website, showing the most in form players in Europe at the moment... ...and the leading player was a free signing, ...and a former Stokie! Top five European leagues - minutes per goal (all competitions)
Player Games Mins Goals Mins per goal Choupo-Moting (Bayern) 8 187 7 27 Roberto Firmino (Liverpool) 5 126 3 42 Andrea Petagna (Napoli) 7 51 1 51 Lewandowski (Bayern) 9 744 13 57 Yoane Wissa (Brentford) 5 229 4 57 As the BBC then points out, "Add in his three assists as well and Choupo-Moting is either scoring or creating a goal every 18.7 minutes."

You have to conclude the bloke PSG signed from Barca as a replacement is just a poor imitation really

You have to conclude that Nathan Jones is only the 3rd maddest person to be involved at Stoke.
Second was the bloke in the pub who recommended him. First was John Coates for listening to the bloke in the pub and making Jones manager, then backing him with a few million quid.

I'll never understand anyone who offers this bloke (Jones not the worlds best free transfer) any kind of goodwill.
He's the worst manager we've ever had, an absolute fraud and 2nd only in the "to be hated" stakes than Steve "the quitter" Cotterill, though thank the lord that useless charlatan left us in the lurch as well.
Jones went very close to destroying our club in the same way that Alan Ball did all those years ago.

Don't get the hatred for the guy tbh . Sure he is a little unhinged, possibly deluded but he came here, give it his best but the job was way too big for him and he was clearly suffering as much as we were ! I'd say Rowett did far more damage and spent shit loads more in the process. He was an unmitigated disaster and while his appointment wasn't his fault, his constant insistence that he was brilliant and the fact he refused to walk away when the club were too gutless/hopeless to sack him just makes it worse. People seem to think he worked on a shoestring, he spent something like £20m and left us adrift at the bottom of the league on the brink of relegation. Rowett might have spent 3 times as much but pretty sure we were in the top ten when he was given the boot?

TWENTY million Edit - £18m plus a couple of Premier League loans and Nick Powell

The thing is the story for Nathan isn't Clark being the best free transfer its him signing the best free transfer in the world, it's always about him and his not so humble bragging.
We are just lucky he signed us all those leaders otherwise imagine how much of a mess we'd have been in if they were just run of the mill couldnt give a shit shit footballers.
