Yes I thought definite penalty. Red was harsh but letter of the law I guess in that instance. If the ref sees it as an intentional handball there’s no alternative I thought it was one of the most obvious penalties you will ever see and he stopped a certain goal with his arm, has to be a red card. There is no other decision possible. Look at the rules. If that happened v Stoke we would be going beserk if he wasn't sent off for that. I though the rules had been changed for defenders to stop attackers kicking the ball at hands/arms from point blank range and for balls that ricochet off legs etc. So as I said yes it hit his hand no doubt and on VAR in ultra slow mo his arm does look like he swipes it forward but imo he was very unlucky he was off ballance and it bounced off his knee. In real time it didn't look that obvious. But of course if it were against us I'd be screaming for a penalty but that's hardly an unbiased view.
