Can we have Ken Dodd back at the end of the game when we win, please.

I think 99.9% of a fanbase would agree that the idea is a moronic one.
I would probably die inside if they even considered it.

Not exactly to do with goal music but I still find it amusing when Manure got thumped 4-0 in Barcelona and I think it was Chelsea who kept playing the song Queen " Barcelona " at different parts of the day. Start , half time and end.

They did I last year with no crowds and I was so glad they’d binned it off yesterday.
I had two celebrations in a row. One for Powell’s goal and one for the absence of music.

A huge resounding NO from me And whilst on the topic of music ..got in early today ..18 months to test and adjust sound levels ..with 300 in the ground the volume in the West upper was horrendous ,suitable for a full rabid stadium ..and even then it would be loud .. loud doesn’t equal quality , seriously it was painfully loud Adjust the volume based on numbers in the ground , the type of music , or advertisement type ( with or without music ) , the weather , humidity etc etc not simply crank it up to full volume with no balance whatsoever ..shocking ..seriously it was painfully loud No to music after goals. I sit in the Lower West and the sound system was the opposite low and cutting in and out including the Micky Thomas interview but could have been atmospherics. I know over years it has been hit and miss but had improved with the new system. On a tangent the Big Screens - have they been replaced? The quality was poor as if a billions pixels removed thus clarity very poor and the graphics designed by a primary school pupil, the only down side yesterday to a good game and drenching walking back to the car.

Its a big NO from me. After a goal is scored it is a time fans to cheer and shout their heads off. Piped music sounds really small time. It is another way of making the atmosphere better. The only way to make a good atmosphere at the Bet365 is when the players put on a decent show. After yesterdays showing by MON's lads we will not need any of this contrived shit. After the match is over then play bit of music depending on the result of the game. A few years ago at Doncaster Rovers in a cup game that we won they played Three little birds by Bob Marley. If my memory serves me correctly the whole ground was singing it together.

I think 99.9% of a fanbase would agree that the idea is a moronic one. I would probably die inside if they even considered it. An idea that vast majority of the fans don’t want……the club will embrace it with open arms. That’s it then Kevin Bennett it is.

So I notice someone wanting to get in on the supporters council wants to introduce music when we score. Thoughts? It’s a massive fucking no from me! Keep the cheering atmosphere! A quick rendition of Delilah from the stadium is all we need, cringe worthy in my opinion.

The candidate has done something not many can do - unite the fanbase.
Just not in the way they intended.

I always thought that piece from Romeo and Juliet in the build up followed by Happiness by Ken Dodd at the end when we won to be the perfect musical accompaniment, absolutely nothing but noise and unbridled joy after a goal though…..

The Supporter's Council should write their ideas down, push them under the door on a piece of paper Mike Bassett style. Better still just carry on ignoring them

Hadn't a clue what Hooky or Mickey Thomas were saying because of all the distortion.

Nope we shouldn't. I'm a musician, but I will say that we have cheapened music so awfully much by having it nearly everywhere and so nearly constant that you can't avoid it many times in public anymore. The best music after a goal is the crowd roaring - that's the best music I've heard.

No to music when we score, yes to ken Dodd and “Happiness” back, but what. I could never get my head around was the entrance music. Only Stoke could have the bizarre scenario whereby we would take to the field to”One shot” and “one chance” , surely that is setting the bar a little too low? My kids informed me that the music was by somebody called M&M? Imploring our team to one shot and one chance as expressed by a chocolate peanut has to be wrong in so many ways😂
