I am obviously hoping for a win but have put a little wager on a draw which I think would still be an excellent result.

We could very well get humbled here. I just hope we play as we have in the last 2 games - it gives us every chance.
Powell is a big miss.

I'm doing my best not to get too optimistic, but am now excited for every game. Think this one will be a tight affair and with just a goal scored by one team. Just not sure which one.

Powell is a big miss. to be fair when was the last time we were 'humbled' and they're a good side but not the side many are making out. Will be tough of course. Beating a second string Birmingham side and Millwall by the odd goal hardly makes them a team to do that to us.

They are a good side and will be right up there at the business end of the season. The way we have started, they will be just as worried about us as we will about them. We have the team and the confidence to go down there and get something from this game.

Couldn't beat Boro at home.

2-0 Fulham really can’t see us getting anything There is a Fulham supporter on a message board somewhere saying "2-0 Stoke, really can't see us getting anything." That's football! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif)

Worth a bet if you think we will escape from this one with anything other than a loss.
Bet365: Fulham 5/6 Draw 12/5 Stoke 7/2
I can't see past a regulation defeat, my money will be staying in my pocket!

Same team as Forest, but maybe a bit more controlled and restrained in our approach, knowing the quality of the opposition and feeling that a draw will do us just fine.
1-1 for me.

Mitrovic has 4 Carvalho 3 of their 10 goals. Both been impressive so far. Mitrovic quality as this level.
Tommy Smith is second in the assists table with 3 behind Giles of Cardiff.

Absolutely nowt to be scared of. Go there, take the initiative like we did last time we went there and have a go, let them worry about us. Look at our performance at Swansea last week compared to last season, chalk and cheese. They have a few injuries, we are flying, if we have serious intentions of going up then theres no point going all in ourselves and keeping it tight. Play our normal game that we have seen through August. Its more winnable than some on here think!

High-press them mercilessly, harass them obsessively, call them names and take their lunch money. 90 minutes of Hell. If we get caught on the break I can live with it.

Just a heads up for some travelling fans. There’s going to be a large anti-vaccine demo in central London tomorrow.
It won’t affect the Fulham area at all, but if you wanted to be in town pre-game it’ll be busy, and/or you don’t fancy being around thousands of people who are definitely not double jabbed etc

Beating a second string Birmingham side and Millwall by the odd goal hardly makes them a team to do that to us. I can’t remember. We’ve been garbage for that long that we’ve barely seen any optimism towards the team. This summer and our start to the season has changed that and it’s great. However, we’ve played 3 of the worst sides in the league so far, 2 of them at home. Fulham is a different test of our young defence, Joe Allen as our only DM etc. Powell is also a huge miss with his pressing, work rate, general shithouse behaviour, and most of all his creative talent. We’re going to need Vrancic to do some off the ball work which isn’t really his game.

Interesting game v Derby tomorrow. Swansea are awful, heavily down to the fact they are trying to play a system that their players are currently struggling with. Reading are absolutely shite, as they were against us. All 3 are bottom half fodder with Swansea and Forest well below what they are capable of. I'm not saying they'll finish bottom 3 but they're 3 of the poorer sides in the division and we've played 2 of them at the ideal time in Swansea and Forest.

Imho it's game in which if we get anything from it's a real positive, we have nothing to lose and everything to win.
As regards losing, it tells us nothing, some good teams are going to go to fulham this year and loose.
I think we are looking good atm and bar a real spanking at Fulham, no result on Saturday would change my mind.

Fulham have only played Boro who will prob finish in the top half and failed to beat them, maybe Millwall but hardly a top side. We haven't played 3 of the worst sides to be fair .
