I read it ages ago. The majority of it happened in his head not in reality. tempted to quote Professor Dumbledore here but seeing as he was A: fictional & B: dead ,it might not resonate so well?

That is incredibly sad. With my physical disability, as a husband and a father, I can relate to what Kamara is saying in that he feels like a fraud and how he can’t bring to the table what he used to. When my children were very young I was more physically able and could do the things most take for granted, kicking a ball around etc, and now I can’t and my kids are still kids it’s horrible feeling like I’m letting them down. I really hope that the specialists can cure Kammy and that he can bring back all the humour he used to bring to Soccer Saturday.

Souuthall was very unpopular with some players at Everton.
He went straight home after the cup final win rather than celebrate with team mates , remember his pitch sit in and was scathing about Stoke as he wasn't interviewed for the manager's job. He also spoke like Everton owed him a coaching position after his retirement.

He does a podcast with Ben, they have some of it on BBC2 on Friday afternoons at one and it's excellent.

😁 Forgot about Dave Watson's spell Even when Southall was interviewed on Kick Off the Granada TV show he came over as hard work and an angry chap. Great keeper in his day though and fantastic Everton side

Yeah it's never given a nice vibe, you only have look at people who work at the club the edge on some of them is terrible. I assume it's still like this given the monthly moan about the ticket off and club shop etc Any dealings I’ve had with any of the “ordinary” staff has been top notch and they’ve been very helpful

Could well be why he is referring to player mental health problems in addition to the sad death of his friend Gary Speed. Attachment Deleted

I like to look for the positives in our club and, while there are obviously things that need sorting / are done badly (like any other club), it is a shame that so many on here appear to only see the negative.

That's a well drawn and balanced comment - unlike your namesake's cubist period 😁

Such a lovely man. So sad to see him looking so down. I caught a bit of Ninja Warrior the other night while waiting for the Mrs to get dolled up 😆 and for the first time I heard Kammy speak, since he'd found he's got this condition. It was noticeable, but not so much that you didn't understand him, and it's sad to hear him talking about feeling a fraud, etc. He's a great personality, and it would be great to see him build the confidence to carry on doing what he does best.
