Definitely be a shot in the arm for the Blues that will. The fans in general always liked Rowett and he was one of them Blues sackings in the same mold as Eustace, ditched whilst actually doing OK. One thing you can say about Gary's teams are they're usually hard to play against.. He'll make them much tighter at the back and whilst they'll play unspectacularly, they'll likely have enough in them now with him at the helm to give them the required points to stay out of the relegation position. Blues fans are calling Rowett the 'Manager of the Month' already!! ie they've had so many this season he's quite literally their manager of the month! Maybe a series of draws will be enough for them, not impossible

Blues problem lately is lack of goals Rowett going to fix that? Whilst they may not be scoring, theyre only losing matches by the odd goal. Making them tighter at the back and stopping them conceding the odd goal here and there will almost guarantee them draws at least. They've a mixed bag of fixtures aswell coming up, invariably teams in the mix up top or down the bottom. I'd fancy them getting draws or wins v QPR Huddersfield & Rotherham, & they'll struggle against Leicester & Coventry. Norwich at home on the last match of the season could be interesting if they need the points to survive..

Rowett is fine in situations like this

You can’t help, feeling we are dithering while others prepare for the moments of truth To be fair dont think Brum had any choice given the unfortunate circumstances with Tony Mowbray Had the same happed with us with Schuey, Id have hope we’d do the same (though maybe not with Rowett)

Rowett sees Brum safe IMO. Better manager than our current one- fact. Rubbish. Not one single promotion. Given one of the largest budgets ever seen in the Championship and blew it.

He's been saying that since 2007...... Sounds like he's had his nose put out to me with Plymouth clearly not entertaining him.. With his short time at Aberdeen I'm guessing this'll be him done now. Pulis, Allardyce, Warnock, Pardew, possibly Hodgson, they've all finally realised the games moved on & they can't work their magic anymore.. Allardyce struggled at Leeds & WBA, Pulis struggled at Boro & Sheff Weds, Hodgson was hounded out of his boyhood club, Warnock at Aberdeen, the games moved on & left the likes of these guys in the history books. Warnock was doing OK at Huddersfield but they obviously weren't happy with something about him as he was ousted at a point where most people in football nevermind Huddersfield fans themselves were quite happy with the stability he'd brought to them.

Rotherham reappoint Evans after Richardson exit - www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68834834Rotherham sacking Richardson & replacing him with Steve Evans is bit of an under the radar move. Clearly their owners have a plan for building for next season & see Evans as their man as he's guided them up to the Championship before. Birmingham City I expect are feeling a little uneasy about playing them on Saturday now with the potential new manager bounce definitely giving their players something to turn up for as well despite already being relegated. 🤞🏻
