I thought U23 games for ST holders were free ? Don’t matter to me either way because if it’s social distancing there are sure to be other restrictions too. As I’ve said before if there are restrictions for the 1st team...U23s or the ladies team I will give it a miss thanks...can’t be doing with all the hassle...I’ve had enough of that. It hasn't been free for a while. A couple of seasons ago, I used to go quite regular and it was 2 quid and kids for a quid, which I think is fair enough to cover stewards costs etc. A fiver is just pushing it too far for me personally and on the official site they even mention the dreaded booking fee too, which is bonkers. Each to their own though and good luck to those that go. I’ve just checked my e mails and I had one last week from the Club asking me to renew my ST...which I will. One of the perks listed on the e mail said free admission to U23 home games and Ladies games. As I said before I’m not arsed either way because I ain’t going...I’m certain it will be a load of hassle.

In fairness it's not exactly a money printing exercise.
2000 tickets at a fiver each will raise, £10,000 so cover either staff costs on the night or 2 days of wages for one of our better paid players back from loan.
The club is losing enough money, don't worry about that!

I'd pay £20 just to sit in a stadium again. The fact I don't have to watch the first team is a bonus.

In the unlikely event of this being a play off game for the first team as a season ticket holder you would have to pay. So a fiver for an u23 play off game seems perfectly reasonable and I will certainly be trying to get one.

A fiver is hardly the end of the world is it? Will it sell out?

A fiver is hardly the end of the world is it? Will it sell out? Semi final for the 23s with no fans for over a year. I'd be amazed if it doesn't, the 18s final vs Man City a few years ago got similar to that and the final vs City last year just before covid a few turned up for that too

A fiver is hardly the end of the world is it? Will it sell out? I'd be very surprised if it doesn't sell out. Hopefully it does. And the U23 squad certainly deserve to play in front of a 2,000 crowd in the playoffs. They are 12 (I think) games unbeaten, they are a breath of fresh air the way they play and they have 7 or 8 Premier League clubs below them in their league. If I didn't live 130 miles away I would certainly be trying to get a ticket. As it is I am looking forward to watching the stream. Hopefully they have a fully fit squad to choose from - Varian has been a miss in the last few games. PS - it would be great if the club could manage a commentary on the U23 streams - other clubs do it, so why we don't is a mystery.

Single socially distanced seats.....why?
Why can't members from the same household sit next to each other?
Me and a number of mates would've been well up for going but there's no point if we can't sit together, we're better off sat outside the pub where we can.

There will be staggered entry time ..and face masks to be worn at all times ..details will be on ticket
Before people moan , it’s a ‘trial game ‘ the 1st step back .. pre season friendlies will hopefully provide further confidence .. and August will hopefully see normal or minimum restrictions ..concourse and toilet facilities are two obvious issues for those legally responsible for signing crowds off to be given confidence over

Getting the spacing of singles would have been much simpler than waiting to see what grouyps there were, also on your point presumable you and you mates aren't members of the same household.

As of monday groups of up to 30 can meet outside. Last time I checked, the seating at the stadium was outside. What's the difference from us being sat around a table outside a pub, to being sat in a row of about 5/6 of us down the match?

I don’t know , Ask your local health and football licensing authority ..they’re the ones who have the legal responsibility.. Restrictions are not much different from those I’ve seen posted elsewhere involving 1st team playoffs games , and Prem final game(s)

I know it’s a trial blah blah blah but I can’t be arsed with it all...had my fill of restrictions over the last 12 months thanks.

Print at home tickets is a (long awaited) good move. Next step to that has got to be digital barcodes on smart devices, as an option for those that have smart devices. Should be easy to do even as a back end feature add on to an existing ticket system.

would liked to have gone but working away again, at least the pubs will be open inside though, good Wi-Fi, watching Stoke footy on a stream whilst having a pie and chips and a pint is a good fall back
