His sub stifled us, then Batth fucked up. We were terrible second half but Millwall were gifted their victory...... No doubting that their goal was a gift mate but MON invited the pressure I wouldn't exactly say we were under pressure, the game was certainly drifting until Batth's balls up. The Clucas sub was made to seize the initiative, the way he played I'm not sure that would have happened anyway......

The second half showing really was dross, not helped by totally uninspirational management. Norton had a decent cameo appearance at Cardiff, but we get Matondo who has been poor in every appearance, and whom we have no intention of signing? Would giving Norton 20 minutes have worsened our situation? At the start of this season, who would you say had the better starting position- Stoke or Barnsley? If you want an example of positive management rather than dull as dishwater, lack of risk football compare O’Neill and Ismael.

The problem as I see it, is that we are a team of money grabbing mercenaries. They know we're safe, a miniscule chance of the play offs has now vanished and they've shown today they don't give a rats fucking arse whether we win or loose. That second half performance must rank along side some of the worst performances by 11 so called professional footballers, ever to don the red and white of SCFC, and believe me I've seen some Utter fucking shite, served up in the 60years I've been following my home team. Hang your fucking heads in shame!!

Matondo is clearly devoid of any confidence and really needs to start his career all over again ..unfortunately if he's on a big whack at Schalke he might piss it away on a series of loans a la Wimmer .

Very frustrating after playing well first half. A personal error cost us. We’re a better team than them just sometime you have those days. Mikel excellent today as was Brown till he faded. The subs actually made us less effective rather than improved us. We should have bought Norton on as the 4 that came on were woeful and couldn’t even retain the ball. Very very frustrating but I still think we’ll do OK next season with 2-3 additions and Collins and Campbell back hopefully. At the moment, the prospect of next season fills me with utter dread. It makes me feel depressed. Some of our players are complete losers. We need to get rid of Vokes, Batth, Smith, Matondo, McClean, plus any 5 others that are physically incapable of playing in games week in week out.

Football is a simple game, it isn't about possession, it isn't about slick passing, it isn't about pressing either. It's all about scoring goals, Stoke were the better team in everything but scoring goals and lost.
If we don't take chances and bring Vokes on instead of giving someone like Norton a chance we deserve to lose. Montando needs a loan to develop, clearly got talent and speed but needs to master how to use it.
We are not going to make top 6 or be regulated so now is a good opportunity to develop next year's team

They didn't shut up shop, they actually moved the ball quicker than us and were a yard sharper. They defended resolutely when they needed to and we had no idea how to break them down. We bossed the first, they the second, horror mistake, fine margins.. Correct

O'Neil's signings have been (to put it mildly) poor!!! i’m not so sure. All have improved as the seasons gone by Brown Thompson Mikel Norrington Davis Clarke was ok Matondo awful Gunn no great shakes Brown might have a few good minutes in a game, but I would hope he's not going to be a first choice next season... Thompson, I quite like Thompson, I think he'll be okay for us a championship level, but mainly as cover... Mikel, good pro, and I hope we can get another season out of him... Norrington-Davies, started really well, but has looked nothing better than average for a while now, needs to buck his ideas up a little... Clarke, he looked good, but miss used by O'Neil, playing him, dropping him... Matondo, agreed, awful... And Gunn, again, agreed, no great shakes!!!

A very good 3 points at Bristol
No points today
TOTAL 3 points
Better than 2 draws
Should have been 2 wins or 1 win, 1 draw

Losing to a Rowett team is a new low even for us Lower than being slain by a Slane team? I don`t think so, get a grip.

Hughton looking a real miss now Forest going to be in the mix next season course and distance Winner was an obvious prerequisite of managerial choice and we are now well and truly marooned and with not an ounce of positive trajectory . Having just been out coached by Gary Rowett Rubbish, Rowett is a rancid chancer of a manager and what undid us was a diabolical bout of defending by Baath. Take that out and it’s 1-1 or 2-1 us. They. Got lucky on the day and once he shut up shop at half time it was going to be an utterly shit game whatever, just like Rowett subjected us to time after time. Well he’s taken 4 points out of 6 of O’Neil this season make no mistake I’m not a rowett advocate I just think you saw today why neither have been promoted at this level and are very unlikely ever to be , beggars be,if we could appoint three managers who don’t have promotion from this league on their cv given our resources , unless of course none will come and then you have to ask why

He will ultimately get us promoted if he gets the chance to do a root and branch clear out of the old deadwood. He is perfectly happy to invest time and patience in younger players, which could just be a coincidence of the academy producing some talent to coincide with his arrival or all other managers being totally blinkered and wanting instant success on the pitch straight away. I would have hated an old dinosaur like Allardyce as he is just after the pay check and quite willing to burn cash to get some kind of success which may ultimately be detrimental to the ongoing finances of the club.

If all of todays substitutes never played for Stoke again, I would not miss them. Not one of them had any impact and made us worse. Jacob Brown for all his faults was MOTM. He made more effort than all the subs put together. Any hope disappeared with him.

Regardless of whether or not Stoke might have been able to sneak into a playoff spot, is it too much to ask ALL the players to show some pride and give their best efforts in every game for which they are selected? I don't think so.

That 2nd half was rancid, made worse by the commentary on the official stream not coming back on and listening to radio Stoke which was a minute in front of the stream. I ended up painting a shelf from the spare bedroom I took downstairs.

Bayern: solid defence my arse. We’ve been so susceptible to simple mistakes it’s almost a flip of the coin, O’Neil realised this coupled with the new tip tap toe obsession. He knows s ain’t good enough that’s why he sets up defensively, since Campbell has gone we’ve lost the we can score more than you. I have no idea what you’re going on about. MON just got schooled by Rowett. Hopefully he can school him back. No disrespect earlier in the season you thought we (from what I thought you meant) we could let loose the breaks and go for it , I think mon was and is dead right to hold tight cus we ain’t got a team just yet to loose the chooce, we are getting more solid and improving, that’s all
