Wycombe and Wednesday look doomed. But would you rather be Corona-struck Rotherham, with 4 games in hand, or Birmingham?

Apparently Rotherham will have to have a 4-game week at some point just to complete the season! www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/football/international-football/rotherham-united-v-watford-safety-first-for-millers-as-they-start-to-play-catch-up-3166951 He (Warne) is self-isolating following an outbreak which has affected ‘more than half’ of his players and staff and will miss the next two games.
If any of his affected players – who only returned to training on Monday after the club’s Roundwood facility – do not feel ready, they will not be involved.
Those who start the game and struggle after getting the all-clear to return will also be taken off if needs be, Warne has pledged.
Warne’s players and squad have prepared for tonight’s game in the loosest sense of the word.
"I say one day’s ‘prep’, but it is just a return to training programme and getting them on the grass and not injuring everyone and letting them have a sweat. A few of my staff are (also) working away from the training ground, which is surreal.”
The Millers must negotiate 14 matches in under a month-and-a-half – factoring in the forthcoming international break.
That crammed schedule is likely to include one four-game week. A case of ‘like it or lump it.’
“It is a ‘disaster’ for us and I would have rather played two of those four games (in hand) and have another two points as it is.
“I cannot see how it will work but there will be a week where we will play four games in seven or eight days.

Birmingham, Sheffield Wednesday and Wycombe have to be big favourites at the moment. Rotherham could pay for having too many games in hand though.

I think Rotherham have been very fortunate not to be forced to play a weakened team or even forfeit points considering they've had two outbreaks now which have led to 6 games being postponed in total, it just all depends on whether Birmingham get a new manager bounce, my gut feel is that Rotherham will run out of steam and Birmingham will stay up by the skin of their lucky teeth.......

I fancy Brum to survive. I quite like Bowyer at that level of the league and think he will have enough to get them going in the short term.
It will be a shame on Warne who I also rate. He's got a good little side there that just aren't quite good enough.

Birmingham's xG is worse than Wycombe's, you'd think it's only a matter of time for them.

Birmingham's xG is worse than Wycombe's, you'd think it's only a matter of time for them. Blues have been hanging on in there like a turd that won't flush away for years, one more flush & they'll hopefully be gone. Anyone that appoints Karanka deserves to get relegated! & as for Bowyer, getting 2 teams relegated from the Championship to League 1 in successive seasons would be some achievement 👏🏼🤣🤣

Huddersfield play 5 of the top 7 and also have games against Forest, Blackburn, Sheff Wed, Coventry and Rotterham.
Lose a few of those 6 pointers and they could find themselves in real danger.

Paul Warne a good, honest manager. Hope he can keep them up. Wycombe won a lot of friends but wasn't to be.

Birmingham are dogshit and I’d love for them to go however I can’t see past Rotherham, they’re the West Brom/Norwich of League 1.

I have a B’Ham ST holder living opposite me and he reckons they are certs for the drop.
He tells me They need a striker. Sounds familiar! 😀

A Rotherham win in the early kick-off would spice it up a bit. They looked crap against Cov the other day though, so not sure they'll do it

Much as I’d like to see Derby go down, sadly I think the three who occupy the relegation spots now will be the ones to drop.

Yeah, Derby going down would be great, but I also think the 3 in the bottom spots will go down.

Lee Bowyer is an odd one. I like him as a manager but my mate, who is a Charlton fan, said his head blew up when Charlton fell into stable ownership and he couldn't handle it, yet he seemed to thrive when they were in turmoil. Birmingham are another club in turmoil that he seems to be thriving with.
Odd, very odd.

Massive win for Brum today, sees them all but safe. Rovrum need to overturn 4 points from their 2 games in hand over Fat Wayne.
