Which of his signings have been a roaring success Fletcher - too injury prone Brown - absolutely not Mikel - no RND - jury's out Clarke - jury's out Matondo - not looking likely Powell (not sure if he is a MON signing though) - good but not consistantly Gunn - no Thompson - jury's out Oakley Booth - jury's out The only bright sparks this season have all been youngsters who were already at the club - to be fair MON gave them their chance Campbell Souttar Collins Bursik The jury isn't out on Thompson, he's crap and offers nothing. Offers a lot more than other regular starters IMO

The most worrying thing for me is his signings, they haven't improved the team at all.

He’s not going to be at the club much longer is he? Surely you don't really believe this March? He's stabilised things and let's put it into context, he's lost a lot of his best players to injury and today is the only game we've been well beaten this season. Contrast that to recent years. It's not good to watch right now. The recruitment was poor in January, the atmosphere in the club and the man management, professionalism is there. We need to stick with this manager and give him time, the recruitment is a team issue not just on him. He's clever and learn from his mistakes. Next season will be much better Well beaten at Norwich 🤔 . Is he learning from his mistakes though. Mikel, Allen and Brown being picked game after game with virtually the same outcome every time. I’ve seen better down Leek Town than what’s on offer at the moment.

I don’t like the look in his eyes nor his body language. To me he looks a beaten man who has run out of ideas. I think he has great integrity and will actually look to leave.

The problem at the root of Stoke's woes over the last few years is that there is no accountability from top to bottom. Performance is not relevant to the running of Stoke City, whether we're talking management or players.

The biggest stick he's given me to beat him with is his decision to pick Angus Gunn in goal. Anyone who has ever played 1x football match in goal will tell you he's probably the third best keeper we currently have at our disposal. What's worse is that he's not even our player. He's been sent here to build confidence at our expense.
The Mikel and Allen criticism I get, but honestly, I dont see another manager coming in here and saying 'Yeah a Cousins and Tymon combo is the best midfield I have here'
Other decisions you can chuck at him are transfers but I reckon he's about 50/50 on those.

To be fare mate you must be happy with him He’s done a great job keeping up last season etc. But I don’t think he’s got the experience or the tactical nouse to take us to the premier league. I think he deserves another transfer window but if there’s no improvement next season he’ll be gone.

This fanzine is all about opinions which makes it excellent, but the stats don’t lie and I think he’s treading water , what he sees in players like brown etc I really don’t know and I think he will be sacked at the end of April if results don’t improve as the buck stops with him

Totally agree and he’s certainly not going to be first choice for Southampton any time soon

This and the sending gregory out on loan when we only had vokes as the fit striker at the time was criminal. Hes not a world beater but certainly a better option than th wardrobe off the bench.

I think he deserves another transfer window but if there’s no improvement next season he’ll be gone. I’m not sure he was fully aware of the financial situation regarding establishing his own squad Moaning about money wasted on Brown, Fletcher, Chester, Mikel .. they’re possibly here because their wage demands fit into our restrictions He’s used youngsters sensibly - Campbell, Souttar, Collins weren’t just thrown into the first team, it’s unrealistic to do the same with the U23s Campbell injury is a massive blow, we’ve also missed Clucas, Fox and Allen at some point Collins and McLean also added to the injury, injured goalkeepers I’m not convinced that our financial situation will improve for transfers next season I believe we’ll finish mid table, next season we should be getting enough points to be challenging for a top 6 finish If not then is the time to revisit the staffing Our better players won’t want to stay if we show little ambition
