Thought Clucas looked sharp and energised when he came on, can only be a good thing moving forward.

Bournemouth and reading lose too, a good day all round Still a mystery how Gunn gets the nod over Bursik though . Bursik is our player , he is confident coming for crosses and has massively more potential .He is no where near his peak . Davis has a case too. Doubt whether he’ll change keeper though straight away, after consecutive clean sheets. Out of the 3 gunn is the one who scares the shit out of me

Cannot stand pejic commentating. He's like Andy Hinchcliff. Should have done this, should have done that... Nothing new to this forum, most posts on here are comments like that.

He surprised me tonight saying his clubs were “Stoke and Spurs”. Don’t think he’s normally mentioned Stoke.

Check out the last paragraph of the media career section of his wiki page!! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garth_Crooks"Crooks possesses a set of gills on each side of his neck which he uses to breathe during his weekly underwater commute in the River Irwell on his way to BBC Media City studios for Final Score on BBC1" Probably wrote that himself!

The last interview I read with him was saying how is best moment in football will always be his Stoke debut and running out towards the Boothen End, despite the fact he won Cup Finals at Wembley Spurs. Also stated that biggest influences on his career were Waddo and Denis Smith who encouraged him in his early days.

I remember when we beat Villa in the Prem, our first home win his comments were ridiculous ( not a first for Garth). The rest of the results panel looked at him in amazement to be fair. We weren't any good, Villa were just awful. He does talk utter shite though, his 12 man formation at the WC, praising Chelsea for defending the Delap throw when he didn't play and James Morrison for England spring to mind.

He's a Stoke lad who made good, and I think he always tried too hard, but different people try to adapt in different ways so good luck to him I say.

Totally agree he tries too hard which I think his main problem. Personally like the less serious pundit. Garth once claimed that Chopra didn't get a look in at Cardiff due to his background when they had one of the best strike forces around. Doesn't help himself trying to stir things up like that.

Nige was on form.
"Fletcher said thank you sir".
"Legs like a piston engine".

The midfield ticked over again for most of it, just like v Wednesday. Allen and Thompson seems to work alright for me but wtf has happened to JT's crossing?
Absolutely chuffed with today's performance. If we'd been torn a new one by Nath I'd have lost it.

Like everyone else I am delighted with the result and our performance but would add a little caution;
Luton were awful and two of our goals were down to abysmal defending and Sunday morning standard mistakes.
Fair does though we took advantage of them .
A great moral booster for a far more difficult game on Wednesday.

First goal was unusually undercelebrated.

Just watched the extended highlights on Stoke .com the look on Vokes face when his header was saved was of disbelief a what have i got to do score, i know i will shot down but perhaps in twin strike-force he could be useful?

Who was it who executed that first time 'nine iron' chip over to Vokes from the left? Good skill.
