Grim. As nature intended. Genuinely, I love that we're now capable of grinding them out like this. It's a vital part of our DNA we've found again and no probs that it's a big part of Mick's DNA too. I just hope that by the business end of the season we're not regretting the chances we had to go and grab a few games like this that could have been there for the taking if we'd dared. But then MoN's a football manager who's hopefully taking us to the Prem next season and I'm not...
Better dust that 7 off again then eh
Hope you and yours have all had the best Christmas you could considering xxx

About bloody time Sal 7 defensively good should have buried at least 2 of the chances, another clean sheet and another away point. Gouranga.

Another clean sheet, we had the chances to win it but so did Coventry. A bit negative overall, especially with the subs, as I think it's a game we could've won had we been a bit more positive - but with Fox missing perhaps we didn't have many alternatives. Credit to Coventry, they played well, especially their right back Dabo who made it a tough day for McClean.

6 from me
Defensively strong again, with a sprinkle of luck thrown in too. Bursik, souttar and Collins are superb.
However without campbell up top we offer next to nothing in terms of turning 1 point into 3, and the concern is we have no one to step up to the plate in his absense, unless we have someone in the academy again.
We had a few chances today and im not saying Campbell would have scored them, but the excitement he offers gives you that optimism. Without him that optimism is missing.
Why MON only used 1 sub is anyones guess, cos with a bit more postiviity we could have taken the 3 points.
An opportunity missed for me.

6, not his fault players missed great chances but it would have been nice to see an attacking change to try and change it up/go for the win.

7 - Defense outstanding again (even with yet more disruption and changes) and any of 3 players on 5 occasions (Brown, Fletcher and Thompson) shows a bit more composure and we have at least a 1-0 away win against tough opponents.

needed to have changed things more in the second half

This was Coventry ffs and if he had played a front 6 of Fletcher, Vokes,Ince,Brown, Verlinden and Powell with Joe Allen just behind we would have won that 10-0 easily.

Negative starting XI, worse lack of subs.
He needs to step up.

7. Tough one to score him. Wasted chances cost us dearly again. Defensively brilliant, and we actually created decent chances. It seems Verlinden isn’t really pulling up any trees in training or he doesn’t rate him as that was a game where a little bit of spark would have won us the game. We are desperate for some quality in the final 3rd.

9 Not the managers fault that none of the chances were taken. As good a team as he could have put out. Some poor finishing but that's not the mangers fault. The one change I'd make is to replace Brown who looks out of his depth

Cons - Boring, poor (non existant) subs, negative and mind numbing
Pros - we didn't lose, clean sheet
