Be still my beating heart... but at least we got containment right this time and great to see Bursik gaining confidence, I want to believe in this mixed run of games we've got our defensive routines on the way to sorted again. And maybe looking like real promotion candidates was more pressure than we could handle this early in the season? Given what Mick clearly set out to do, I guess that counts as a good day at the office then...

A turgid 6. Set out not to lose and did it well, but the game as a spectacle was devoid of any interest whatsoever.
We really need to take the game to the teams below us if we are to challenge for a seat at the top table, and this was an opportunity to make amends for last season's drubbing at the hands of the sheepshaggers.

He knows what he's doing and it was a good enough point for me after being bombarded early on but let's be under no misapprehension, some of our football is going to be vocally critically appraised when fans get in. It is fucking rancid at times.

5, didn’t want to lose, didn’t want to win
Acceptable against a decent team but not 3rd bottom

5, I wasn't too bothered by the line up but setting them up as negative as he did just took everything out of them and gave them no chance what so ever to have any positive impact on the game.
He got what he wanted which is a point.

I'll give it a 7.
Set up for a draw, and that's exactly what we got.

6 set out not to lose and achieved his goal, I'm happy to cut him some slack considering the amount of players we don't have available. Gouranga.

7 - obviously came out second half with new impetus and we smashed them for 10-15 mins but it fizzled out - I was settling for a point at halftime and at least we didn’t do the usual gifting a new manager of a struggling their first home win for ages.........

5 - played for a draw.
Boring and predictable.
Its Pulisball with less effective players.

8 - for me Players coming straight in from injury, loads of players out including his main striker, keepers and just about all the midfield players. Some players having to play who are not quite at championship level at the moment - and yet still getting results Says the players are running on fumes - I for one appreciate their effort and the fact we somehow manage to keep the scoreboard ticking - that said going to be an interesting xmas period, as hard to see where goals are going to come from at the moment. Over to the genius that is MON

Yes we’ve got injuries, but we’ve still got players that should be able to play better football than this.
And he seems content with not bothering to attack.

7.5
After Tuesday could easily have seen an implosion. Nipped it in the bud, defended well, competed all over the park. Had a bit of luck with a decision that could have gone agains us. 1 more point and no dent to GD. Ince looked a good sub to me. Vokes didn't get on, good for everybody atm.

We haven’t got any real creativity in the team at the moment. Don’t blame the Manager for that-we have been decimated by injuries! In the circumstances I give MON a 7. If we get into the play-offs, it will be due to games like this when our battling draws have seen us weather the storm until we get our better players back on the pitch.

It’s a point gained and another clean sheet with our injury ridden squad, we were not at our best and Derby were looking lively. I’d have taken a draw before the game. We need another striker in January to give us a decent chance of a top 6 finish, and we are due some better luck with injuries too.

7. Sweet promotions are made of points like these. They are not. Teams at the bottom of the league that have scored less than 10 goals all season have repot be beaten. We have less 4 points on the table in our last two Saturday away games by not trying to win

7 Yes they are a poor side but injuries have killed us and a draw was a decent result. I’m not quite sure what people expect with the players currently available. Take Tyrese away and we have no X factor. MON has said what’s wrong “no pace” so hopefully he’ll get backed in January. Hopefully v QPR the 2 coming back after a layoff will be fitter and we’ll have McLean back who’ll give us more energy. I’m just pleased we’re nearing the window and we’ve got a lot of points on board because with the players currently available we’ll struggle.

A dour grey flinty Winter seven
Excellent clean sheet.
But increasingly hard to understand why Verlinden still hasn't been given a chance. With Ty out we're crying out for some pace & flair C'MON MON - give him a go

Unfortunately, having watched Verlinden in the Under-23s a few times this Season, he’s nowhere near fit enough to play in the first team. He suffered a terrible injury and, at the moment, he is finding it difficult to beat a man and get decent crosses in. He needs a few more reserve games under his belt. If everyone was fit, I doubt that he would be in the match day squad yet.

A pragmatic 6 from me. Injuries have really knocked us back so to go to Derby and get a point is not to be sniffed at. At the moment it's a case of grinding out results and that's what we did. He was very realistic in his summary after the game and I don't expect anything different to happen until some of his major players get back. Losing Campbell is a massive loss. His creativity and goals is the reason why we're where we are, so to lose him has really affected us. Some positives. Bursik is one of them and is gaining in confidence every game, plus a clean sheet. I'm still glass half full with Michael at the helm but I think we have to show some patience until we have some of our better players back and see what he does in the January window. It's a case of treading water until then.
OS.

He’s done nothing in his career yet to justify this kind of hype. I wonder how many times the fans clamouring for his inclusion have actually seen him play?
