Would they want MON? Would he go if asked? I’m not so sure he would. Is MON a catholic ? Glasgow football is religious. Yes

They are a member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood, a 19th-century revolutionary nationalist organisation among the Irish in the US and Ireland. The Fenians staged an unsuccessful revolt in Ireland in 1867 and were responsible for isolated revolutionary acts against the British until the early 20th century, when they were gradually eclipsed by the IRA.

The irony is that the term Fenian actually means "brave, young warrior" in Gaelic.

If Rangers couldn't tempt Tyrese to join them and they're at the top of the SPL, I don't know what Celtic could offer that'd tempt MON up there.
Tinpot league any way.

They were at a similarly low ebb when they managed to tempt Lou north 27 years ago, so it's not entirely out of the question. And MON lives only 35-40 miles from Glasgow (in Edinburgh).
In our favour, l guess, is the attractive prospect of getting a side promoted into the Premier League (and then competing there). And, of course, Peter's deep pockets.

Next old firm Derby is on January the 2nd at Ibrox, a few weeks and things could change by then, or Rangers could be 15 points clear

Police being pretty smart in that clip - taking advantage of the mob's "intelligence" and giving them the fence to fight instead of them...

Lou was a boyhood Celtic fan, not sure if MON was. Also, we barely had a pot to piss in back then (Steino was sold at around the same time) so Lou possibly had thoughts on how much further he could take us. These days that doesn't seem to be a problem. Personally I think he'd be daft to walk out on us for Celtic, he could really build something here

MON will have his sights set on the (English) Premier League now, surely.
