Mcclean's sublime skills caressing the ball when its hit to him from 40 yards. How he drifts past defenders like they dont exist. Pinpoint crosses always on the money. The magical little tricks that make your spine tingle. Can hit a shot from anywhere always making the keeper work. Then there's the extraordinary free kicks so creative. I think that free kick he took is still going up.

I was fully expecting a 1 nil defeat so I'm happy we managed to get a point.
Move on.

The one moment of panic at the back came from him. It was a very composed performance from Chezzy. Good news to have him back with H and Ryan unavailable I’m sure you would agree.

Only one more game against TP this season . . . . . unless we draw them in the FA Cup! 😢

Couldn’t deal with the high ball and as said the one one moment of panic was from him letting the ball bounce. The worst defender for us today.

Only positive today was we did not lose we should have easily beaten Wednesday. We are not good enough for a top 6 place just yet mid table this season MON needs at least 2 transfer windows to get the squad he needs. I reckon we're in with a decent shout of being top6. I also think it's very likely we will lose Ty if we are not and that would represent a serious loss to squad strength. Always worth managing expectations where Stoke are concerned though, so I hear you

The kind of game we’d have lost pre MON. Good point. Pre MoN was Nath 'The Chancer' Jones so tbh every game we played was 'the kind of game we'd have lost'.

1. First time I have watched Collins and thought he looked the part at this level - normally nervous when he plays.
2. The owd guard at the back were switched on for the full 90 and did a grand job - they normally get a slating when they make mistakes - so we should even it up a little tonight.
All playing lots of games and we have lots of injuries so credit to them.
Need to keep going and picking up points on a regular basis and we kept the scoreboard ticking today - lets keep focussed and see if we can stay in the top half for as long as possible

TP has done us over recently, so that's the main positive, plus we had chances to win it. We're down on numbers at the moment so all points are welcome.

I think Collins is a massive talent and if he has a fault it's that he chances his arm at times. He got done once by their tricky little winger, but took a booking for the team. I'm absolutely delighted for Bursik. He made a cock-up on one or two clearances one of which was his first serious mistake. Keeping a clean sheet will boost his confidence. He has been hung out to dry in his first two matches by the back line, but today he didn't have a lot to do.

He has been hung out to dry in his first two matches by the back line, but today he didn't have a lot to do. No doubt he is a talent and we have given him a few chances to break into the team over the last couple of seasons, but he was clearly not quite ready and inevitably disappeared from the scene. This time around he seems to be hanging around in the squad a bit more and getting more game time, so the manager obviously thinks he is not far off. Although MON literally has no other choices defensively so is having to bleed him in - long term it is a good thing though. He does make me nervous as does Souttar at times, but both clearly need to be given a chance this season and both will make blunders and mistakes because of their lack of experience - which you can only gain by playing. We should not look to be playing them mid-week/Saturday every week though, Souttar has been hung out to dry and has played too much recently. The manager is struggling to find 4 or 5 viable defenders without his youngsters - For me, we now should be looking at bringing in Wimmer to train with the team, we surely can't be looking to be paying him prem wages until 2022 and banning him from the training ground for the next 2 years. Yes he has a shite attitude and yes he is shite, but we could stick him in the defence when we play the likes of Norwich/Watford where we are more than likely going to lose anyway - give the youngsters a break in those games and also avoid destroying their confidence at the same time.

I have to say Chester was very good today. I thought he was very poor in his earlier performances this season but he was in particular very good on the ball. Collins was excellent in an unfamiliar position albeit struggled when Harris started going up against him. Bursik didn't have a save to make but looked decent taking crosses I thought Chester passing was always back or side ways, that's where we missed Harry, he had very little to do and Rhodes did him but Danny was there to help him out.

Yeah, draw a line right down the spine of the team to add 4 players.A keeper, a defender, a midfielder and a centre forward. Imagine the window being open now and signing..... Davies Shawcross Allen Fletcher Oh add to that Souttar and Verlinden and those 6 would be a fair acquisition to what wasn’t available yesterday. Why do people persist that we’re not ready to be a top 6 side when the evidence is put right in front of them with a league table of 44 games since he arrived?

We cant judge our defence against them, Huddersfield and Norwich are a much better guide to how good we are defensively Sheff Wed are possibly the worse team in the division. In answer to the question re our defence - it has been awful for years and still is - and we will need to try and score at least 3 goals against the better teams in this division - to try and get some sort of result(draw/win) Sheff Wed, fortunately, are not one of the better teams and these are the games we need to stay focussed so that we can pick up some points
