I think you'll find a 'Country Mile' is only about 2/3's the distance of an urban mile. Bollocks the best team won won won won won wo wo w w.

Roughly speaking a country mile is 10 furlongs (2200 yards) whereas a mile is 8 furlongs (1760 yards). The country mile is also called the Old English Mile, and the present mile has been called the Statute Mile or London Mile. Gouranga.

Crap decision but we can't keep conceding 3 goals a game.

Nah we deserved to lose that. We were shambolic until the sending off. I agree. Until the sending off we were getting stuffed. To all those who were saying after Saturday that we would make the playoffs easily, need to give their heads a wobble!

We made Norwich look good we were as poor as they were good, we have every chance to make the play offs! Maybe we won't maybe we will but we have a very good chance in my opinion.

Robbed.. bollocks, best team won by a country mile. I mean we were denied a perfectly good equaliser. The game is 90 mins not 70. The only person speaking bollocks is you.

Nah we deserved to lose that. We were shambolic until the sending off. We didn't deserve anything but that does not change the fact we were robbed of at least a point by poor officials again.

We just need to be positive with our play.

Sorry mate, accept it, the best team won, look in the scorebook. “look at the scorebook” i.e. completely delegitimise any meaning in the phrase “the best team won”

The first half we were terrible, defensively all over the place. However we also had chances in the first half and we were not clinical, Powell hitting the bar a chance for example. Second half I thought we started a lot better and we were the better team from the off. Norwich's 3rd came against the run of play. I thought Bursik was unlucky as he managed get his foot to the ball only for it to hit Pukkis shin and continue into his path. We were pressing them and got in their faces all second half which wound up BuendĂa and Powell did what he loves. We were then just camped out the Norwich half for 20 mins. Their defender makes a great save from Mikels shot, most keepers would have been proud of it. From the resulting corner we have a goal disallowed, for what actually looks like a goalkeeper jumping over Gregory as he looks at the ball coming down and taps it in. Overall I thought we deserved a point and should have got it.

In our first season back in the Prem, every other team was better than us by a country mile, but we still won lots of games.

How come the homer refs only visit Liverpool and Manchester ffs? This is why I was calling for some sort of VAR before VAR even came out. I just don't believe there are not officials out there and over the years that don't have a bias and dislike of certain clubs for whatever reasons. Until we have some sort of VAR throughout the leagues teams will be robbed of points week in week out.

Keep conceding 3 goals at home and you'll lose more than you win. Third goal was offside, and the second down to our young inexperienced goalkeeper. I don't think their third was offside and was certainly too tight to get other than with VAR. Bursik was at fault for the second but our central defenders were at fault with all three, not tracking runners, too slow on the turn and on the third yet again ineffective looking for offside.

I thought the ref was incredibly inconsistent in what was a foul and what wasn't - in the first half they pretty much went against us every time and Buendia was calling the shots.
2nd half was a bit more even up until he sent his helper off (who can have no complaints) then he reverted to type a bit and gave some very soft decisions that he didn't give in the first half.
However we've got to defend better, the goals were all too simple and if you give them gifts you'll get punished. Collins should be back in the starting line up after yesterday and hopefully we can get back to keeping clean sheets.
But the ref was still dreadful.

Keep conceding 3 goals at home and you'll lose more than you win. It wouldn't have been 3 though if the linesman had done his job correctly. Gouranga. It definitely wouldn't if our team had done their job properly.

our defense is poor and has been for a number of years that is our major problem that could hold us back making the play offs this season

The shot by JOM hit the defender fully on the hand. In the Premier given all day long you can look at it from 20 different angles if you want ,it would be given

Despite losing at home we're in no worse position in the league (today's results pending), so even if did it wrong we're still doing it right. Other teams will lose vs Norwich as well, so we'll make up for the loss eventually. But we have to beat Wednesday on Saturday to stay in line.
