Brainless run chase so far.
Every batsman has been out trying to smash it out of the ground when it just isn’t the pitch to do it.

He gets on my nerves a bit! Oh right yeh the number one ranked T20 batsman in the world, without whom we’d have lost. What a tit Hussain can be! He’s nearly as bad as Vaughan!!

Just watched this on catch up.
It’s good that we play games on slow pitches, well, providing we learn from our experiences. Sometimes you don’t have to go balls out. Today was a good example.
Ok, we got their in the end but we batted like it was Trent Bridge. Well, with the exception of Malan who did well working the ball around.

I just don’t think we’re ever going to lose when I’m watching, reckon it’s how Brazilians feel watching a World Cup. I mean no matter how bad we start we always seem to recover. Long may it continue

I just don’t think we’re ever going to lose when I’m watching, reckon it’s how Brazilians feel watching a World Cup. I mean no matter how bad we start we always seem to recover. Long may it continue I know what you mean. But we are too good to have to keep relying on someone to dig us out of a whole we dig ourselves into as well as the opposition letting us off the hook. We got very lucky in the first T20. That victory was mainly down to SA errors in the field - particularly Du Plessis dropping Bairstow early in his innings when he misjudged the flight of the ball and that disastrous 17th over from Hendricks which went for 28 runs and included 8 (eight!!) wides. Yesterday’s game was a breeze because SA didn’t score enough runs. But even then we made it tighter than it needed to be. Basically we need to achieve a better balance between brain and brawn in our batting. Too much of the latter currently.

Cricket time.
Same XI for England, no Rabada for SA. We'll be chasing again, same outcome hopefully.....

Jordan now has the most wickets by an England bowler in T20 internationals. Unsung 👏🏻

I don’t think his batting’s too shabby, he’s too far down the order to make many meaningful contributions

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as he desperately needs a break but this is dross from Archer.....

Good challenge for the England batsmen. I think we'll just fall short, the series is won and that might subconsciously be the difference....

Think we got a bit over confident in the end thinking we could bowl anything and what the hell were those bits of paper the balcony were holding up trying to tell Morgan what to do? Don’t like that at all

I know it’s T20 but Malans timing is still superb. Any chance he has a future in the test side again? Thought he was unlucky to be dropped in the first place

Piece of piss this chase. Unlike our football team, the cricket team thrives under pressure and just don’t respect any other team. They’re brilliant

Comprehensive T20 series win. Thought today it looked a tough target but Malan cruised it with Buttler. Pity Malan was one short of a century.
