Davies and Souttar were the only players worth more than 2 despite being responsible for the first goal. People have put more effort into this thread than half the team put into the match.

Everyone a four
Apart from Mikel who was about a 8, we would of been absolutely embarrassed without him absolutely brilliant on the ball and never gave it away , and a 2 for Vokes who would of made Keith Scott look lively

Brown deserves a 0. He's looking very limited.
What was fucking annoying is swansea signed lowe for less than half what Brown cost, Lowe looks a lot better

If he was injured he should have called to be subbed, there is no excuse. Big call for a player (especially a keeper) who might struggle to get his place back. Mind you having seen Gunn I doubt that. It's not a position you can piss about with if you have an injury, players have to make the right judgement and if he was injured it's a poor decision to stay on.

Somone says 0, another one 8. Worst player vs MoM. ???

I didn't see the game. Just followed some stats. Zero shots on goal? Again? Not the first time, I think it's the third time this season and we have played 10? We average around 2.5 per game which is shocking

Zero all round Easily the worst performance of the season, probably the year I don't agree. Vokes should have a minus 10.

Mikel was the best player and TOB had a good second half. Beyond that I'm struggling. How Vokes can be slated whilst McLean and Brown seem to receive relatively positive marks is beyond me. What did either create all night? Vokes, not very mobile himself was flanked by two players running fast in straight lines, no trickery at all. McLean also did a very good job at trying to get sent off whilst we were still in with a chance. I've said somewhere else our forward line didn't have a brain cell between them last night.

Davies - 5 Really hope he isn't out for long - I like his attitude a lot. Smith - 2 What strange choice to play him again, seriously what are our other options at right-back? He's so limited. Chester - 1 Fuck off. Souttar - 5.5 Looked to play clever balls again, probably the best of the bunch today but he got caught out twice Tymon.- 3 Awful - I didn't even know he was playing the first half hour. play him in midfield or not at all. McClean - 5 Brilliant attitude, probably the only one that gave a shit. What is MON's thinking? Not playing him all season then twice in 5 days? TOB - 2 - I just don't see it, he's nowhere near ready far too lightweight it was like playing with a man down in the first half and a lot of that was down to him. Mikel - 2 Bored of saying it, his legs have gone but he didnt manage the other side of that game today nor did we see any useful passes forward. Quite surprised to see such high scores for him. Vokes - 1 He's finished. Brown - 2 Again, what is his position? Today wasn't his position. Really poor. Fox - 3 Just not that good - not helped out by being played as a centre half in a 3 What was MON thinking... Campbell - 3 Shouldve started couldnt get into the game. Fletcher - 3 See above. Gunn - 3 Needed to be far more brave for the goal, I dont blame him for slipping but he shouldve found a way to fuck it off. MON - Minus 1 - clueless Regarding Tymon, I also didn't know he was playing as I don't think he touched the ball for the first half hour.

Davies - 6 Flapped a bit for their first goal but possibly hampered by the knock that forced him off at HT.
Smith - 4 Like everyone else he seemed to be chasing shadows and virtually no link up with Brown. Being exposed by Chester not quick enough to cover the ball into space behind RWB.
Chester - 3 Failing to cover space behind RWB, generally chasing shadows, looking lost and no apparent leadership.
Souttar - 5 Good in the air and played a couple of decent balls out but again looked slow and vulnerable to being turned.
Fox - 4 Nothing awful but then again nothing much at all.
McClean - 5 No impact first half but got stuck in second half and seemed the most likely to make something happen. His frustration late on came close to getting a red card.
Mikel - 4 Swansea too often and too easily got through the centre of midfield, seemed to be missing Thompson.
TOB - 2 The game seemed to be passing him by, gave Mikel lttle support and few outlets.
Brown - 3 Very disappointing after a decent display on Saturday, a bit of huffing and puffing but little else.
Vokes - 2 In his defence the service was awful but when he did get the ball he did nothing, lack of pace and mobility allowed their defence to play out from the back much too easily.
Tymon - 2 As with TOB failed to make any impact on the game.
Gunn - 1 One regulation save, one absolute howler and his come-stop-come gave their man too much time for the second goal.
Campbell - 3 Came on too late and couldnt get into the game.
Fletcher - 3 Came on far too late and couldnt get into the game, dreadful free kick right at the end.

Souttar was culpable for both goals, gave away the ball for the one v one which injured Davies, played the back pass which wrong footed Gunn and was just as sloppy as Tymon's on Saturday, and was knocked off the ball by Ayew resulting in a clear cut chance for him. He wasn't as domineering in the air as he has been and made more glaring mistakes than Fox or Chester so how he gets credited with allegedly being one of the best performers while the other two get slated I'm at a loss to understand. I credit him for the good matches he's played but last night was a shocker.
