As much as I loved the Vic (and dislike the Brit), I think that proves we could never have stayed there and expanded it.
Where exactly would the new stands have gone?

the only way you could expand would be ither to buiold over or divert the Trent
either way it would have been very expensive
the club announced plans in the mid 90's for a new 9000 seat stand on the Butler St side & if we had stayed presumably (given this was the old PC) it would have been a conversion job on the two paddocks & a cheap as chips pisspoor seats bolted onto terracing job (maybe with a new roof) on the Boothen. presumably thwere would have been a devlopment (changing rooms e.t.c) on the corner of the Boothen & the main stand
capacity aprox 26000?,parking & access (especially access to the Boothen) would have been a big issue.
If I won the Euro millions (on a 20 week roll over) I would build a stadium there tommorow

As I've said before, if you drop the Brit onto the Vic site it well overlaps the Trent, and would have needed a costly river diversion. Would have been ace though!: P.S. It'd have to have been flipped and had the corner filled in too, to give us a proper Boothen End. If only money had been no object...

that is superb kennilworth
like I say though the accesss behind the Boothen would be an issue
I think I'll move the school as well.
question: having won £1bn on the Euro millions tommorow what should I do with the Brit after moving back to the Vic site?

Sell it to the Vale, they'll buy any old second hand stands I hear.
