On reflection my take is
1 O’Neil is getting a bit frustrated with the inertia in Moving players on , being held back by previous process failure 2 it’s casing him to try formations he doesn’t like because he can’t get the players in be Iain he can’t get some out 3 Afeobe is a huge millstone he is trying to make into an asset against all the stoke playing evidence 4 talk of salary caps etc just make it an even header job
I’m not suggesting he likely to walk just that the mountain ahead isn’t getting any smaller despite Survival most tiki S he can control he’s doing well but baggage and another failure to move players on is frustrating him .

And you're satisfied with one cup in 167 years...? Actually it's a figure of speech common in footballspeak. Amazed you haven't heard, but given our paltry record of winning cups I guess you can be excused. ONE CUP You're memory is short Two auto windshield cups The watney Mann trophy The Isle of Man trophy three times Division two (now known as the championship) champions three times May I suggest if its glory you require you need to amble a few miles past Vale Park Historic feats they are, I'll grant you that, but are you satisfied therewith?

MON seems to have given most of this lot their last chance. For him to call their performance "poor" is a good indication that he wants quite a few gone as soon as possible. Only 25 will make the cut , MON knows that by getting rid of half this line-up, he can bring in a few more better players. This was another dismal performance and against a ordinary League One side. Blind Freddy would have gone home by halftime. The 11 already have "made the cut", and of those only BMI is looking to leave. Please do name which of the other 10 he "wants gone": Davies, Smith, Chester, Batth, McClean, Clucas, Thompson, Powell, Gregory, Afobe?

On to the next two friendly games. I think these games will tell us more against stronger opponents...it may just make our lads lift their game!

Its a bright sunny Sunday morning here in Somerset! It may be still "pre season" but my season has officially started. Two days in and we are still in 2 cups and unbeaten! Its great being a Stoke fan.

Very poor performance in general. Why is it that Stoke managers fail to see that the their Stoke sides have absolutely no pace. We must have the slowest and oldest squad in the championship by a country mile. Blackpool winger Harrison murdered us for pace. New additions Fletcher and Obi are both 33 and Chester is 31. Talk about building a team for the future?

Good luck to them and I hope they regain there place as soon as possible But I'm sure most of these fans wish the last eighteen months hadn't happened I should of added to my post the words winning piss all in the football league I don't. Suppose you could do a link to the new Bury shirt

Watched the game this morning (thanks Rob).
It was as depressing as it was worrying.
Obviously (?) that's not the starting 11 but goodness me, ani lower half finish would be pushing it with that performance.

Davies, Gregory and Baath had a decent game.
Disappointed in particular in Powell and McClean.
Why so low penalties?
