It was admittedly garbage - but weren't we third top scorers in the division since MON came in?

Thing is fitness wise Burton look fitter and I’m assuming they had the same break as our unfit fuckers think they have played a few more pre season games than we have so far Only against a couple of U23s though |

We twatted forest in our last game, in case anyone has amnesia? We used a formation that worked and suited the players, no sign of that yet..... Still a lot to figure out. New signings have to be used properly. 4-3-3 works for Campbell only when the ball is laid off in front of him |

Four weeks off and we come back looking totally useless yet again. Thought we should be well ahead of Div 1 teams as they haven't played since March.

Unfortunately some of our team should be playing in League 1. I think everyone has forgotten just how close we came to relegation. I know today was only a friendly, but that kind of lacklustre performance was typical of much of last season. |

I have a traveled A50 for years and always thought it was Derbyshire well i`ll be buggered. p.s. not from the potteries just followed Stoke for 50 odd years . I’ll have you know Burton is very much in Staffordshire (well by a few yards anyway) or at least it was when I left home a few days ago. I’d better phone the kids to make sure they haven’t moved it while I’ve been away. 😉 As i said i use the A50 whenever i am travelling to the southeast and just assumed being so close to Derby it must be over the border  |

A) Move for Scott Fraser has ended as we chose to sign Mikel instead, in his opinion we’re “learning nothing”.
B) We were way to slow to hurt them today.

New signings have to be used properly. 4-3-3 works for Campbell only when the ball is laid off in front of him We don't need to change anything for the new signings, they aren't any different at what we had before, we needed a dm to replace Cousins and Allen so thats pretty much like for like and Fletcher again is just a swap, 4-2-3-1 would suit Campbell fine or we didn't do too badly with 3-5-2 any of these are better than 4-3-3 |
