It was a really good game as well.
Harrogate saved by the drinks break in the second half though. But deserved winners in the end.
I think they need to bin the drinks breaks off tbh.

Correct re drinks breaks - it's the uk FFS not Dubai! Effectively turns it into 4 quarters - ridiculous If a pro footballer can't hydrate for 50mins they seriously need re-educating

Notts county vs harrogate in conference final playoffs today. If county come back then they reclaim the oldest club crown back. Hope they do, just to stick another nail into forests season after we dumped them out of the playoffs 🤣🤣 I thought we were 2nd oldest club

Thought it was a much better game than Arsenal v Chelsea yesterday. More football content, less play acting, less cheating, better refereeing.
But it seems the know alls are bizarrely trying to write the FA Cup game as some kind of modern day classic!

Congratulations to Harrogate, always nice to see a new club achieve league status even if sometimes short-lived.

I thought we were 2nd oldest club Not according to the efl. Wasn't that just one unnamed EFL "source" who said that when badgered by the Nottingham press, who then made a big deal out of it "confirming" Forest's status?

Harrogate, I remember going there for a night match, maybe an FA cup game, one of my work mates played for Congleton town ( and Stoke but went to the vale never to return) good set up back then.

I can’t see anything official with a credible endorsed source; it’s all just a PR stunt. 90% of what is on the internet (so it must be true 😂😂) still has Stoke behind Notts County. This has been the position I have always known since I took an interest in Stoke 45 years ago so I’m sticking to it. Until Prince William in his role at the FA says Forest or Palace (who have also jumped on board) are older than us, I’m not having any of it.

Harrogate play on 4G don't they? Not allowed in the EFL As cp posted it's getting changed, but in May 2017 the pitch was awarded FIFA Quality Pro Status which means the surface is fit for the highest playing performance for professional level football, so good enough for FIFA, but not League 2 .... I was talking to somebody yesterday morning all things football and we discussed this, he's involved in grassroots and thought they earned £100k a month from it (seems high) so that would be an income and community loss, unless the income can be made up from TV, gate and sponsorship money

Had a few jars with them a few years back more than once and The Fureys in tow. Quite a few empty pint pots that night.
