Let's get Craig Shakespeare in as DoF.
Assuming MON is ok with that of course.
Maybe the last piece of our jigsaw.

Tbf to Watford they’ve got their managerial merry go round pretty spot up to this season.
But this one seems really odd. And I’m all for an early sacking and can usually see why a team would do but surely let him finish the season?
But I can see why they’d sack at the end so maybe they think a new man will get the desired effect on two games?

( not a lot of people know that) Nigel has possibly been politically incorrect with someone or told the Chairman what he thinks of his knowledge of football. There be a gagging clause in his separation agreement, so we won't know. I'd still prefer Bournemouth and West Ham relegated. West Ham are pretty much safe with their goal difference aren't they?

I hope Villa stay up at the expense of Watford. Partly because of the selfish reason that I think Villa would be more competitive (despite their financial difficulties) than Watford in the Championship next season.

Why would anyone manage Watford with their reputation?
I understand that some managers are desperate and will take anything. But what's the point? Do well - sacked for someone better. Do poorly - given no time whatsoever.
Pearson has performed a miracle really in the same way MO'N has here. Who'd have thought Watford were going to survive at the start of the season?

Partly because of the selfish reason that I think Villa would be more competitive (despite their financial difficulties) than Watford in the Championship next season. Two games left each and if Aston can get 3 more points than Watford with a swing of 4 goals they’ll survive and send Watford down. Watford have to play second placed Manchester at home and then 10th placed Arsenal away. Zero points highly likely. Aston have to play Arsenal home and West Ham away. Three points or maybe even 4 doable. BM

I couldn’t disagree with you more but in any case given his absolutely superb record since taking over someone else’s mess and someone else’s team and saving us from absolute certain relegation he at least deserves the respect of every Stoke fan to not make a judgement on him ‘not being good enough to take us up’ until he’s had a year or so to build his own team. So stop posting disrespectful nonsense about someone we all owe a great gratitude towards. BM

Seems an odd one again, he has/is keeping them up. Still this is Watford we are talking about. I'm surprised they didn't have a couple managers since the restart.
