Ridiculous decision that.
You'd think any Championship or League One club would consider them for a job given that Huddersfield were in a similar predicament to us when they took over.

Haven't they been touting themselves around for other positions? Maybe that? To be fair didn't mad Nath make a bit of a pitch for the Barcelona job soon after coming to us🙂?

Stevie G to Bristol isn’t it? Turned them down apparently I’d have a fiver on Eddie Howe going as well if the price was right.

It was a strange decision by the Cowleys to go there in the first place. They should have got Lincoln to the Championship and looked at their options from there. Imagine they will have banked more in their time at hudders than 10 seasons at Lincoln.

I guessed there was something up when Danny Crowley pulled out of buying the house around the corner from us - about six weeks before he left Lincoln. The village was getting very excited by the prospect of our new neighbour that wasn’t.

Batshit crazy decision isn't it?
Their squad is awful and the Cowley's have done well to keep them up. Spent half of their budget to sign them and now the other half to sack them...
And this new manager they're getting in is a huge risk. They seem to be willing to employ u23 managers? Wagner worked, Siewart was a disaster. Is this fella any different?

According to someone on Reddit the Cowley Brothers got away with murder at Lincoln by threatening to leave the club on multiple occasions if they didn't get their own way regarding transfers and other footballing policy.
Apparently the Huddersfield board called their bluff and told them to pack their bags.

So we've had the 'let's find the next N'Golo Kante' fad and now we seem to be approaching the 'let's find the next Bielsa' fad.

Looks like they’re talking to O’Neill’s mate as well Stephen Robinson? I thought O'Neill's mate was Austin MacPhee? Robinson joined Motherwell in February 2015, to assist manager Ian Baraclough.[6] He also assisted the Northern Ireland national team, working with Michael O'Neill, that qualified for UEFA Euro 2016.[7] Robinson was previously manager of the under-age Northern Ireland squads, working for the Irish Football Association.

Apparently the Huddersfield board called their bluff and told them to pack their bags. But if they called their bluff, the outcome should be that the Cowleys resigned. In this case, they've been sacked (and got the pay off to boot).
