I know I'll have to get over it one day, but it's absolutely sickening that Stoke City had multiple opportunities to hire a progressive-minded manager like Bielsa or Graham Potter. Even a stop-gap like Marco Silva would have done. But they plumped for Paul fucking Lambert and then Rowett. Two opportunities, after dithering on Hughes for months. The worst part of it all is that the people who made those decisions are complete secure in their positions at the club.

The standard & quality in the Championship this year has been poor . Leeds and lately Brentford have been consistent and Leeds deserve to go up even though I can’t stand the club. The positive is next year we won’t have to worry about them.

I think they will take the premier league by storm and predict a Europa league challenge. Sorry🙄

I think they’ll do well with Bielsa at the helm, and will probably be on a wolves type trajectory. There’s a sub league in the prem right now of some very good teams that have a chance of sneaking into the top 4, like Leicester might do this year. If we had been managed better we would still be in that sub league.
Also, when fans return they will simply have a slight advantage that a lot of clubs (Norwich for example) do t as Elland road is still an intimidating place to play. I know it sounds silly but I truly believe we wouldn’t have stayed up in our first couple of seasons if our ground wasn’t intimidating.

I know they lost and not even sure if both teams were anywhere near full strength. Fa cup 3rd round this season Arsenal away . It was live on BBC , they absolutely mullered Arsenal and I'm sure in the first half had over double figures in goal attempts. Some of the football they played was brilliant.
They could be okay in that 2nd tier of 7th to 17th.

Completely different context, but some of us are still in counselling, and are supporting alcohol/substance reliance, nearly 50 years after throwing away a 2-0 lead over Arsenal in the 1971 FA cup semi final. It's a serious condition. Doctors call it SIS - Stoke Ineptitude Syndrome.

Watch Forest go up also, 2 teams struggled to get back to the prem both do it the same season with no fans to be there to watch them.

Much as I dislike them (mainly due to their arrogance) they have been the best team in this division for two seasons and they deserve it
I do like their coach as well
It just shows you can go through extreme turmoil and still come out and get back into the top league
As long as we can get through the next two games, and keep MON I think we can bounce back from our turmoils
To be where we are now compared to when we all thought we were down is a fantastic effort

It worked for two seasons with Hughes. After we beat Huddersfield with Lambert I thought it would work again. And Rowett seemed a safe pair of hands Think we need to move on now.

The next few weeks around here are going to be f**king horrific. I wonder if the cheating c**ts will pay back the £17million they ripped off other business for? Not at all, offer every Leeds fan you know evens that they won't finish above Man U, and at least 50% of them will take it. Leeds fans were seriously deluded when I lived there, and I'm sure nothing has changed. You'll be minted every season that they manage to stay up.
Good idea but I'd rather just avoid them for the next 12 months. The delusion has never, ever gone away. I know a few who are good lads, gone home and away every week but theyre a minority. Loads were already singing 'champions' last night (as if that champions of europe bo**ocks wasn't bad enough) and they're out giving each other that f**king noncey 'l**ds salute' this morning.

1st season excitement could keep them up, but I still think massive investment needed. Bamford your main striker? Three bags of shite going down this season from prem, and I think it will be a stronger league next season up there. Sheffield and promoted teams this season to struggle I think.

I have no love for Leeds at all and never had they have in the past been very unlikeable as a football club. But it's very much a new era at Elland Road with a top coach stable board and some seemingly knowledgeable and experienced footballing and sporting characters in their management structure. Much similar to Brentford in fact. Mirror those two structures with our own and we are at a totally different end of the spectrum. The only changes to our management team have been constantly hiring and firing the wrong manager and hiring and firing buddies of manager's and board members to oversea scouting and recruitment activity. Also it's no secret that there has been a stream of commercial and contract fuck ups which would have seen most CEO's fired. I don't wish to see the Coates family sell up. It's the biggest asset the club has. But Coates really has to end this Boardroom Cabal and invite individual(s) with extensive football knowledge and experience onto the board. The manager is a rookie in the game of scouting and recruitment. He needs help all he has for help is Scholes John Coates and Andy Cousins....compare that to Leeds and Brentford. Unless we bring in additional knowledge particularly of european football my fear is we will slumber along as a mid-table championship club. One glimmer of hope was in MON's comment about how he was impressed with Brentford structure, maybe he can wake Coates senior up to making changes at the top. It will be tough for the Coates family to invite outsiders in but the club needs fresh ideas and expertise to progress.

Just popped the dogs out for a wander in Stafford & have seen a big Leeds flag hanging from someone's bedroom window. Was a properly printed 'Staffordshire Leeds' banner with pictures of all their badges on it from over the years!
A resigned gutted but fair play was the only emotions I could feel towards them! Ah well!

If Radio Joke talk about them on the stream I may have a breakdown 😤
PS Well done Leeds. ⚓️
