How have we ended up with such dross footballers Butland - Biscuits Wrists can fuck off Ward - older than Time Smith - a nothing player Baath - I’ve seen milk turn quicker Chester - wank loan Bruno - wank and slow Cousins - give me fucking strength Thompson - Just what the fuck is he Ince - Fraud of footballer Gregory - wank Vokes - fat slow and pretty shit That lot can go for me tomorrow, deadly serious That really is a fucking horrific list of footballers. The fact that it was tonight’s starting eleven illustrates just how far we’ve fallen in just a few seasons. We need a massive clear out and I would be glad to see the back of every single one on that list. There is nothing there to even begin building a team around, but who the fuck is going to take any of that lot off our hands? Glad we seem to have escaped the drop, but what a fucking shit show the club has become.

I've said it time after time, Batth is one of our most important players! He should have played alongside someone with decent pace though, but that is another matter.

In fairness we dont have anybody.... A Bean Counter who doesn't know anymore about what constitutes a decent player than you average Joe. Coates god love him just wants to back the manager and dont let me start on JC!! Brentford have it right if you listen to the manager they actually have 2 co-directors of football who find the type of player the manager wants and they all do due diligence with the manager having the final say.

You gotta remember he is only playing because Allen is Injured he is a squad player, like Thompson, someone for the bench Neither are good enough for our bench.

He's done okay and for a team struggling down the bottom it's just about okay.
From where we have come from and where we want to go he isn't the answer although if we stay up he will have played a stella role in that!

I personally think that he could do really well in a formation that suits him. He is a pretty decent stopper, but not much else. Away from home, when we play more 4-5-1 than 4-3-3, he could do well with Clucas and Allen in front of him.It would also give both of them a bit more freedom to do more going forward knowing that they have someone behind them to clean up.

Am I the only one thinking we're not that far off being a team competing for the play offs next season? We certainly need a new left back with pace, which is something that should have been addressed for some time now, and we need another winger with real pace to play on the right. Maybe this will lift Ince as well, because he is a good player who is very low on confidence right now. I've all the time thought we had enough in central defence, but right now I think Batth is the only player I'd trust in that position. Collins is a talent, but despite of this he hasn't been impressive when given the chance. Ryan unfortunately seems to break down all the time, and I can't see him as a regular option anymore. Souttar is still young and inexperienced as well, Lindsay is too slow to play alongside Batth and Chester simply isn't good enough. For me this could be our first 11 next season: ..................Davies................. Smith......Batth.......New player...New player ............Allen......Clucas............ New player........Powell...........McClean .................Campbell.................... Hopefully we will get decent money back from the sale of Woods, Badou, Etebo, Wimmer (no chance here really!), Indi, Bauer, Butland, Tymon and Gregory! If we can offload they will at least free up some money for wages, and I honestly think these players still could give us close to £15M+ in return. Maybe a bit optimistic, but Woods (£3M) seems to be wanted by Rowett, Etebo must at least be worth £5M, Badou should also be at least be £3M, Indi £1.5M, Bauer £500K, Tymon £??, Gregory £500K and hopefully Butland £5M (very uncertain about this though!).

Danny Batth scored a great goal today & an important goal on Sunday, however he has been a major part of this seasons problems. He’s so vulnerable to one long ball over the top & his distribution is awful. If he have aspirations of finishing a lot higher in the league, then he needs replacing.

Millwall's all time record signing was a striker for £1m. I really doubt they'll bust that open for Ryan Woods.

This year they will be so close to the play offs, and that might trigger some ambition. They seem to be very pleased with Woods, and Rowett knows exactly how much we paid for him too. Maybe they'll even see £3M as good value for this player, at least I hope so!

Taking Powell off and having to bring Thompson on said it all really (how bad must Oakley-Boothe be?). We don't have a great deal of pure skill in the side. I can't see Tyrese playing on his own up front myself, so another striker is crucial for me, assumimng we're able to let Gregory go and get Afobe out on loan. It's such a near impossible task to rebuild that anyone expecting any kind of promotion push next season is being very optimistic. However, critical pieces of the jigsaw can be acquired to begin the process.
With a keeper, I'm expecting Jack to go and it's questionable whether someone new will come in. Maybe Marshall can play the part for a season, I don't know, he's 35. Smith will stay at right back, we'll bring a left back in too. Indi will go (thanks Bruno, even though you have your critics), we can't bring Chester in, but I'd be hoping for a new centre back with pace and good distribution to play alongside Baath initially and become a future partner for Collins. Ryan has surely had his day...Cousins is not good enough for our DM starter role and this is where we need to look carefully. The link with Skipp from Spurs on loan was interesting and maybe we can do the same with a winger for the right hand side. Verlinden will be back eventually but it's pace we need sooner rather than later and Ince doesn't offer that. Can MON do all of that during the close season? It's doubtful I think, but it's pretty obvious what we need. Our manager will need help scouting as it's not been his area of expertise before, but I think he's a good man manager so hopefully potential signings will see that. He'll doubtless look to Scotland, but he should look in Europe too and to the Premiership for the odd young loanee who will have a lot to prove. I hope I'm not being too premature as we're not safe for sure, but let's pray that we are and we can all look forward to the new season, beacause it'll be upon us soon.

Thompson did one thing last night that summed up how thick this team is. He had the ball in our half, no one to pass to but plenty of time so he panics and just kicks the ball to their 'keeper. It was absolutely baffling. Kicking the ball away was totally the right play but get it into touch in the corner and try to box them in far away from our goal. This team do stuff like that all of the time and get punished for it. Really pissed me off.

He needed to kick the ball away as there was no other option but why to their keeper? It may seem small and nit picky but stuff like I just find so frustrating.
