Ooo league of Gentlemen and inside no9 are brill. Will checkout Funland, or could you let us know how to get it? I’ll propose Psychoville. I've only ever seen Funland on DVD. Some of it is on YouTube I think as episodes split into 3 or 4 separate clips I think. It was on BBC so check iplayer. Very, very good and very dark. I actually think LOGs Jeremey Dyson wrote it. A couple who are a main part in it are from Stoke. Came today so will give it a whit, yeh seems it’s on dvd only, will update after watching. Be sure to check out Psychoville

(I think) Just finished the latest season of The Last Kingdom. Loved it. The series got better each season, with improving production values, resulting in great battle scenes and a bit more rumpy pumpy humpy!

On the 'Gangs of London' theme...has anyone watched a film called 'Once upon a time in London'? I think it got rumbled on IMBD as one of those that was getting dubious 10/10 marks upon release that weren't genuine. It is so bad my TV still hurts. The acting makes Will Smith look like Orson Welles Absolutely This 100%. Awful!

Binge-watching Dark on Netflix after ignoring it for a year. It's great, and just when you think it's going down a rabbit hole, it makes sense again! Sci Fi/Time Travel fans will lap it up!!!

This is hands down the biggest head blagging t.v show I've ever watched. I love t.v and film and I find I've watched that much I can see where things are heading and make educated guesses but Dark literally has my head up my arse. Money Heist on Netflix is another one add to the list. Originally in Spanish but dubbed quite well in english. Really gets you gripped. 3 episodes short of finishing the 3rd series.

I loved Dark and my head is still spinning. My daughter is watching Money Heist but I don't really fancy it and hate dubbing. Would rather have sub-titles. I'm watching far too much although I'm working from home!!!! The danger of this is I occasionally watch crap films on Amazon Prime! Just finished the latest episode of historical epic Outlander, which has a time travel theme. Have you seen it?

While not a box set as such, I cannot recommend enough the bbc (I know I can't believe I'm complimenting the bbc) series "Once upon a time in Iraq". Its 5 episodes but will be the most moving and educational series you'll watch in a long time. Harrowing, sad but at the same time inspiring. Can be watched on playback on sky or iplayer.

It was superb. I watched them back to back last week. What a fucking mess we’ve contributed to in that region of the world...... Yeah really good. I just find it amazing that there was literally no contingency plan. So the US invade, then what? You can't overthrow a government without interim leadership that keeps law and order. It was literally anarchy and hence the insurgents had a field day. With hindsight it really was an awful decision to go to Iraq. Saddam was clearly an evil bloke but in their case was it better the devil you know? Providing you didn't speak out against him (in which case you and you're family would be shot dead), you could at least live a life that resembles normality and had some security. I like to think Saddam could have been removed while still providing some form of strong interim leadership to ensure law and order but the Americans were just so rash, naive and totally insensitive to the people of Iraq. They had Sassaman governing the most culturally intense region of Iraq. A guy who had no experience of governing and couldn't even speak the language. Just utterly beyond belief how badly managed that war was from start to finish. So sad for all those affected.

Good over all though Just started True Detective and halfway through series one and hooked

Just emerged from bingeing on all the series of Breaking Bad, having felt that it could probably have ended a lot sooner, like Series 3 rather than 5, even though I was able to suspend my disbelief long enough to see it through. Just watched S1 E1 of Better Call Saul. Is it worth starting another binge, or has the whole Albuquerque Dodgy Dealings Shenanigans exhausted itself?
