Is it worth watching then? It's not going to be like Wild at Heart or anything is it? Totally worth watching mate! Joey Exotic getting 19% of the vote is astonishing. Ok we had joke candidates here, Monster Raving Looney party and all that but they generally lose their deposit. 19%. Americans scare me.

Gomorrah. The Newsroom Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip Sports Night Succession Sex Education If you can get past the first two or three Sex Education episodes it develops into a bit of a classic. Well worth a patient watch. That second series is just a mincing parlour without humour...

Just had a quick look at "The Platform" on Netflix... Looks a bit gruesome but not the wife's choice so added to my list for another day.

Tiger King on Netflix.....one of the weirdest, yet addictive things I’ve watched in a long while. Smashed it all on the same day. It’s real life fly on the wall rather than an acted thing. Couldn't get into it at all but think in a vast minority judging by things. Thought was a bit like a Louis Theroux episode without his humour.

Have quite enjoyed Buzzfeed Unsolved:True Crime on Amazon Prime
Not your normal way of doing these stories and 2 fellas having a bit of fun describing the events but really interesting. Some have heard of, some not but some real interesting stories. The Black Dahlia conclusion was interesting and Bobby Dunbar. Gave the two shows on the rappers Two Packs and Biggie Smilie or whatever called a miss as no interest whatsoever what happened there or who the hell they are/were. Still a few to watch including Jimmy Hoffa, Charles C Morgan and one or two more.

Just finished The Mist, a 10 parter. Not so much a remake of the film, more a reimagining but nowhere near as good. Too much talking and melodrama, not enough monsters

How about some comedy and the wonderful 2012? Watched it through again a few weeks ago - hilarious.
Plenty of clips to tempt you on YouTube. Spoiled for choice, but here are three:

That second series is just a mincing parlour without humour...Am I misunderstanding this, Bathy, or are you slating The Newsroom? (Grumpy git if you are ) I love it - I've had the boxed set of its three series for some years and am re-watching it at the moment. Apart from anything else I'm amazed you don't like it if only for the very least reason that you could watch it just for the presence of the delectable Olivia Munn - she has some great scenes, in particular with the equally excellent Sam Waterston, and the storyline where she defies orders and speaks Japanese on air when urgently trying to expose the truth about a covered-up accident at a Japanese nuclear power plant is a stunning performance. Another excellent episode covers when OBL was 'taken out'. Enormously enjoyable stuff. Anyway, fancy slating something written by the brilliant Aaron Sorkin! Amongst other things he also wrote the scripts for A Few Good Men and The American President, the latter having given rise to his incomparable (IMO) The West Wing - for me the finest TV drama ever made and everlastingly re-watchable.
