Badly designed for the corporate, but still the best stadium in the world by a million miles No where near the best stadium in the world. It’s not even the best stadium in London.

Doesn't come close and never was. The original Wembley was an awful place to watch football. Unless you enjoyed wading through piss. And being in a different postcode to the pitch

Had a box when england played a couple of years back. Everything about it was crap. I'd not go again. I won tickets through won for the FA Cup final. It was the Club Wembley section and was utter gash, I wouldn't do it again for another free set of tickets. I got some for just one game I thought the tickets, access etc were very good

very old, falling apart apparently Stadiums like that need cherishing though. Before they build houses on them 👀 I went to watch Inter play Newcastle there, the WC was a hole in the floor, shocking for something refurbished for the 1990 world cup

Maracana and the old Wembley were relics of grounds but had the name only. This snobbery that Wembley had history and Is English so must be the greatest stadium in the world was typical of the attitude of some. It was an awful place at a time when other countries had modern stadia and facilities. The new Wembley is a really decent stadium, decent views etc but not a patch on so so many grounds worldwide.
