Well, after picking the bones out of that incredibly frustrating 90 minutes, with several poor showings again (Invisible Ince and dire Danny for starters, and the non-super sub Welsh Wheelie Bin), a few tired limbs (Powell needs a rest, especially away from home, and maybe Campbell too) and a few injuries (Verlinden, McClean and Clucas - thanks for the protection, ref!), what are we left with for Saturday:
Butland
Smith Collins Chester Bruno
Allen Cousins Thompson
Diouf Gregory Ngoy
I personally like the idea of shithousing our way to an away 0-0 draw. We are due another one of those, surely?

It won’t be that at all and of the ones more likely to be actually selected, I like Preswich’s side.

Assuming the injuries stay as-is:
..............Butland
Smith Collins Chester BMI
..........Allen......Cousins......
Thompson Powell Tymon
..............Campbell...............
Thinking behind Tymon is his natural left foot and he allegedly played very well in Portugal on the left hand side of midfield, where his defensive weaknesses were not as exposed. Thompson has played wide right for Blackpool.

I'll go for an unchanged team if possible. Thought we were the better team for most of the game yesterday and were a bit unfortunate.

We need 11 players on the pitch, with Ince playing, we are playing most of the match with 10.
BBTB(Baath back to Butland) replace him with Collins.

Depending on Clucas... Butland Smith Chester Batth BMI Allen Thompson Campbell Powell Ince Gregory Middle of the park appears a bit "powder puff" to me with Thommo and Powell less than physical in their MO. I reckon it's a game for Cousins (something to prove against his old club) and I like the idea of adding Diouf's work rate instead of Invisible Ince.

Know what you mean - but if he isn't a Clucas replacement, you do wonder what Thompson is going to be for! I think we've just got to see if he sinks or swims. He seemed feisty enough against Charlton.

We simply cannot start Vokes up front on his own away from home! I’d play Ince Diouf & Campbell as the front 3. Ngoy if it’s all over for Diouf

The match will be played out to the backdrop of Storm Dennis, torrential rain and 40+ mile an hour winds.
We'll need our wet weather team I would suggest!

McClean is certainly not playing as it seem he is out for weeks or months, so I'd go for Tymon to replace him. QPR have a couple of rapid wingers so I think Indi will need a lot of help here. I've seen too little of N'Goy to trust him doing the defensive job to be honest.

With McClean out is it time to see Ince on the left? Plenty on here have suggested he is more effective on his 'naturall' side. That would mean Thompson on the right and Cousins for Clucas if Sam isn't 100%. Being away in London I think MON will try and avoid being too forward thinking, more of a West Brom 11 than a Derby Butland Smith Baath Chester Bruno Allen Powell Clucas Ince Campbell Thompson Davies Vokes Gregory Collins Cousins Spurs bloke anyone else who's fit Not many game changers on our bench...reminds me of the early Pulis years

I don't think, realistically, he's going to drop Ince, particularly in McClean's absence. Could just about see him giving Thompson a go on the left, despite it not really being his position. www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jordan-thompson/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/321169It's surprising how little he's ever played wide given he was described as a winger by some media when he came. He's barely played any games there. Can't see Mame coming in from the deep freeze to start. Same with Ngoy. He won't won't to lose Clucas from the middle. Powell? Unlikely but I think he'd do well there, with Thompson coming into the middle. Tymon? Can't see it. I'd be reluctant to lose Campbell from the striker role, but balancing everything up I'd play him right, Ince left and play Gregory up front because he at least is mobile - and Vokes in away games generally isn't a good idea

I haven't seen anything official on Clucas apart from MON's suggestion he had some issue with his hip. If it's possible, I bet they'll be keen for him to play with another senior man missing If he doesn't play, surely it's Thompson to come in - or why is he here?

I might put Clucas on the bench at a pinch but, as I said above, I think Clucas has already been asked to play earlier in the season when not fully fit and I don't see any reason not to give him a rest now in the hope of getting him fully fit with the prospect of several weeks with MaClean out injured. Personally, I put the new wonder kid from Spurs on the bench rather than deny Clucas the chance of a bit of rest and recuperation.
