Should have dropped Ince, Vokes, McLean, Clucas and Butland in the first place. Even Gregory, too. But don't worry fellas, we get to see them all again in the first XI again. Not long now. Some things will never change. That’s bait

Thought we played really well in the second part of the first half and should have been a goal or two up, the second half was more even, but they scored from their first chance after Chester gave away a really stupid corner kick!

Can’t blame O’Neil too much, it just dropped from them on the corners, they didn’t look too much of a threat from open play and we battered them for extended periods in the first half.
I couldn’t understand shifting Campbell from where he had been causing havoc though, especially to accommodate Vokes and his lack of dynamism.
It would have been nice if we stopped Preston getting points towards promotion, just because of the utter shithouses they have revealed themselves to be.

Switching off at set pieces cost us, apart from that I thought a draw would of been a fair in the end they certainly aren't promotion material. Think it'll be 3 from West Brom/Leeds/Fulham/Brentford

We had a few half chances but I don’t remember there keeper having to make many saves. That said they probably scored from there only 2 chances of the game. On the whole it was pretty even but our lack of quality in attack and at set pieces cost us.

Just one of those games. They scored from a ball breaking to them with their first shot on target. I agree Chester was poor as were a few. They played on a poor ref as many do at this level. Wrong to single out too much as on another day we would have won. Did someone say Tymon should have played or has someone spiked my Um Bongo?

I have had a look at our remaining fixtures and I think we are going to struggle. A lot of the games are six pointers, what worries me is we haven't really got a decent striker.

Don't believe in that as we have a decent bit of space between the bottom 2 and is only 1 place to be had in the relegation zone. We have plenty of games to pick points up in. Twice this season we've gone away to league leaders and won. Is no-one we can't beat, tonight a freak result, on another day we've had got a similar result as Saturday. The gap between us, Huddersfield, Boro etc has closed drastically on teams above as well. One of them could be dragged in yet. One defeat doesn't change our recent run

Stick their two centre halves in our team and we win that comfortably. We were controlling the game against a well organised team until Chester’s compete fuck up..... I agree, apart from a brief spell in the first half, we were comfortable and had been on the front foot for about 30 minutes before and after half-time when they scored. 2 needless corners both due to Chester - messing around with the first one and not marking Nugent leading to the second. Its alright him playing from the back but when we dont have a left back its difficult, preston put Bruno under pressure and slowed us up. But at 0-0 we were the likey winners. positivesa re we matched one of the form teams. Have to contineu getting results against the rest - more than enough games to get the 15 points we need, its still not much above 1 a game.In a run of two home agmes for all the bottom teams we have closed the gap on some and widened it to Wigan, that's okay

Just not at the races tonight! Think we were the better team right up to their first shot on goal which went in of course! The worrying thing for me is how shit we are at defending set pieces! How many goals have we conceded in this way the 3 last seasons! Wouldn’t disagree Rob. Preston weren’t very impressive as a supposedly in form team challenging for promotion but they did a job on us. 4 corners, 4 shots - 3 on target, 2 goals and 0 conceded = 3 points. I’d definitely settle for that now at QPR!! Particularly concerned about those injuries we’ve picked up though 😬

Morning all. Thoughts? You are a lucky team, and a dirty team, quite a few cynical fouls were let off by that weak referee, how your number 2 didn't get booked and Pearson sent off I don't know.

Lucky - Yes but only last night, nowhere near our best last night and 2 scrappy and poorly defended goals scored but we aren't where we are after 32 games because of luck. But that doesn't mean I think we will finish top 6, I'm just enjoying the run. Dirty - A few fouls from us I'll admit but just the same from you. Allen's tackle and then obviously Mcclean. Pearson sent off? His reaction warranted a yellow card, nothing more. Very poor game but a win is a win. Been a fair few games from us where we have played very well but not won, just how the game is.

Morning all. Thoughts? See you next season 😉 You probably will do unfortunatley. Not signing a striker in Jan will come back to bite us but at the moment it is promising and you can never call the championship as I'm sure you're well aware of now. With teams around us dropping points regularly, you never know what could happen

I was surprised in the 1st half, you didn't turn up till half time. We never took any of our chances, we could still be playing now and still wouldn't score 🙄. Yeah anything can happen in this league, like Leeds blowing it again hopefully 😁

I agree, 3 points at QPR is what we now need and I would also take them no matter which way the points will come!

Thought Campbell looked lost he needs some physical help up there or space which is why he is better on the right hand side , last night he was doing too much physical work and it took its toll , the chance just before they scored i felt in normal mode he would have scored but he was just asked to do too much

Apart from the first 10 minutes or so we never got going and after your first chance you smelt blood and we was lucky to go in at 0-0. Second half I don't think we really improved attacking wise but we defended a lot better. No matter how good or poor everyone's team is doing this season, I think we can all admit we are enjoying seeing Leeds' self destruction since the turn of the year
