Since MON arrived we seem to be wising up to the darker arts of the game. Last night saw us time wasting, players going down injured when we're under the cosh, tactical fouls. Not before time

We seem to have a common purpose.
Under Jones we seemed to have 11 players doing completely different things. None of them particularly well.
Since MON came in we’re starting to seem more cohesive and organised.

Deplorable underhand unsporting behaviour! Well played lads. Keep it up.

Careful, you'll soon have people on this thread claiming we never used to do this under Pulis.
(Yeah, I know!)

I mentioned after the West Brom match that MON seemed to have adopted some of TP's game management tactics.
I still think that's true and I have no problem with adopting TP's tactics in SOME respects so long as we DON'T go down the TP road of: long runs of binary games, a midfield cage - and full backs who are basically extra centre backs and who are banned from crossing the half way line even if they have the ball skills of John Halls.

I get time wasting by other means but I couldn’t imagine pulis letting anyone pretens they were injured.

We shouldn’t be short changed just because the league won’t outlaw shithousery!

Walters winding up Scott Parker in that Fa Cup Quarter Final, Fuller antagonising Joey Barton. Hilarious.

But I would much prefer it if we won the Championship and scored a shed load of goals whilst doing so! One thing I like about MON's efforts so far is that, not only has he dramatically improved our defence, but he has also started to greatly improve chances created and goals scored. That suggests to me that, if he can keep to that blueprint, not only can he be a successful manager, but he can do it without dividing opinion the way TP did. For me that is a good thing.

I think it is a sad state of affairs when honest players don't get the decisions whilst the cheats prosper...but I guess, as the saying goes, if you can't beat 'em...
Still sad to see

Apart from the feel-good factor of scoring regularly, having a more united fan base will go a long way to making supporting Stoke a better experience for everyone!
