Radio Stoke say Verlinden injured Ah, fair enough I'd have deployed NGoy from the off then. Pace and power. He looked like he'd put some muscle on against Brentford.

Campbell will just have to rely on crosses coming into the box from the left then, with pass it back Ince on the right.

Its interesting that hes dropped Vokes because of the opposition.
I like a manager that changes a team away from home a little bit

Good bench mark for Campbell tonight to see if he matches the hype. I would guarantee he will be totally anonymous and subbed. There’s no way he’s ready to lead the line.

N'Goy and Collins should be ahead of Ince and Batth.

That’s an attacking team going forward. Hope it pays off - the talent is there if teamwork pulls it together. Looking forward to this one ( I might change my mind later - it is Stoke after all ).

Looks more like a 4-2-3-1 than a 4-3-3 if Powell's playing, he's wasted in a deeper role.
Campbell won't win headers but he'll get involved in build up play and stretch the defense. Impressed O'neil has given him a start there.

I imagine McClean will be pulling out all the stops tonight.

Big audition for Tyresse.
The only consolation (& reason) I can find for Ince's inclusion, is that he played well (& scored a belter) away at Charlton on the break, which seems to be what MO'N has in mind tonight surely.
Fingers crossed.

I don’t think anybody can to be fair His Dad was known as " The Guv" Everyone called it to him, well, everyone except any of his team mates at any club he ever played at. But apart from that all of his family, well, when I say all, I must exclude parents, siblings, aunts uncles kids, but apart from them EVERYONE... Except everyone in the media. But hey...He was, and will always be known as " The Guv ".... To himself...

No verlinden on the bench and Ince given yet another chance. Ah well all managers have blind spots, but meh Waste of one space in eleven. What the hell is it with Ince....he’s a bottling, wank, show pony. Handed the initiative to West Brom straight away starting with ten men.

I don’t think anybody can to be fair Unfortunately Michael O'Neill differs. Like previous managers he seems to rather like him and will offer him last chance saloons ad libitum... The main thing that's different is that Powell is now fully integrated in the team as playmaker, and he might just be good at setting Ince up for runs past the man. That only leaves the question if Ince can do anything when everything gets handed to him on a plate. Somehow I don't expect it. But to be positive N'goy and Thompson both offer a glimmer of hope. Also a major break for us to have a central striker who actually has pace and power and scores goals!

Having been dropped Ince knows he's not an automatic start and I can only assume O'Neil has seen a positive reaction in training. He's been given a chance to show what he's capable of (and he is capable of performing at this level) and needs to show he can hold down a place. If he doesn't perform tonight it could easily be his last game for us. Could be interesting.

Ince is consistently poor, I just can't get my head around how he keeps getting another chance. It's playing with 10 men again.
