Not in the FA cup but I wonder if Palace ever played Wimbledon at Selhurst Park
Also didn't Charlton play at other grounds for a good while ? In fact maybe Selhurst park as well ?

Surely Vale have played matches at Vale Park where there have been so few fans that they have shut parts of the ground completely.
And probably PV fans have been outnumbered by the "Away" contingent, making them feel like the visitors.

I was thinking that your contributions were either absent or less prolific than usual lately and perhaps you were being affected by the bush fires. Good that you seem to be well and active.

I wonder if this has happened before🤔 Tricky game for Birmingham, I can see them playing for a draw as they'd fancy their chances more in the replay at home.

Not in the FA cup but I wonder if Palace ever played Wimbledon at Selhurst Park Also didn't Charlton play at other grounds for a good while ? In fact maybe Selhurst park as well ? Palace played Wimbledon at Selhurst Park a numbe of times before Wimbledon decamped to Milton Keynes in September 2003 - see www.11v11.com/teams/crystal-palace/tab/opposingTeams/opposition/Wimbledon/Wimbledon moved to SE25 for the start of the 1991-92 season. Selhurst is my nearest League ground so I saw at least one of these games - the 4-0 one. I used to see around half a dozen Wimblefon games a season but now only go to Selhurst to see Stoke lose (leaving aside the glorious win in the promotion season). Charlton played at West Ham for a season or more after leaving Palace as far as I can recall.

I have thought about this for quite a while. How would anyone know what team you support prior to the game, unless you're shouting its name or wear hats, scarves, waving flags or whatever?
So my suggestion to anyone who want good seats, don't reveal anything in advance.
In Sweden, most of us supporters don't. And I've been to England three times and never did.

Too be fair I was amazed at the amount of anti Blues songs that were being sung from the Holte End during my excursion there on Sunday. Once or twice I expected but there were were a fair few more Blues bashing songs being sung to the point I actually thought they were more obsessed with their dear neighbours than I thought they would be considering Villa are a league above them now.

Didn't we play Boro at the vale when the roof blew off at the Vic Yes the crowd was 21,009. I think we won 1-0 and the “Sentinel Final’ headline that night was ‘Stoke Thrill the Vale Park Crowd’. I still have the paper in my loft I reckon. BM
