‘Anchor’! My wife would sack me for buying Irish butter, nevermind Newzealand. Just buy homebrand British unsalted/salted, you decide🇳🇿🇨🇮🇬🇧 Anchor is made in Wiltshire. Since when... Nobody tells me anything! Edit: Made in Westbury under license since 2012...

Now that we’ve been kicked off the mainboard & gone completely off topic, how do you feel about butter on a bacon sandwich... Pre heat the grill, cover your grill pan with foil, place 4 rashers of back bacon on said grill pan and cook for 6 minutes, turn bacon over and cook for a further 3 minutes, add 4 slices of Cheshire's finest cheese and return to the grill. Take 2 slices of thick White bread and butter 1 slice using salted butter, using the butter knife scoop up the melted cheese from the grill pan and spread over the unbuttered slice of bread, add the bacon and a delicate amount of brown nector, apply the buttered slice, carve in half (half's for me and triangles for the split arse). Enter heaven

Enter heaven I will give that a try. Buying Cheshire cheese isn't as easy as it used to be (at least it isn't down here). I haven't seen middle bacon recently either - that is the one to get if you like your bacon crisp, with a bit of "dip".

Where was it made before that then? New Zealand I guess, that’s where they originate from🥝 So they have cows in NZ? I thought that it was all sheep over there, with a few Wallabys bouncing around to Walzing Matilda.
Nobody tells me nuffin any more.
