Can’t see why they’d make it up, isn’t the kind of red hot goss that’s going to shift many papers nationally is it?

Can’t see why they’d make it up, isn’t the kind of red hot goss that’s going to shift many papers nationally is it? He’s not going to sign for Cardiff 6 months after leaving Millwall because he wanted to be closer to his family in Sheffield. I doubt it’s anything more than someone picking up on the whispers that Gregory could be allowed to leave and linking him with his ex managers new club.

For whose new benefit would it be for? That niche demographic of people who buy the Mail for Cardiff transfer news?

Ok, how many linked in or out (bar Campbell to Glasgow who's been mentioned by O'Neill) are, in your opinion, "reliable journalism"? Just so we know for future reference.

We have transfer stories in the the Mail and the Sun most weeks during the transfer window but nothing ever comes of them.

Given the vast majority of transfer stories in the papers never actually end up happening, i’ll let you work that one out for yourself.

When the headlines on a lot of these stories include the phrases ‘due to sign’ and ‘on the verge’ then yes, it does. The headline for the Gregory story states that he’s set to leave and sign for Cardiff. If you read the article though all that is mentioned is that Harris would be interested in signing him.

No, you said this one was lazy journalism, not probable but actual, so i'll not work it out for myself, i don't need to because you know what is and isn't, so i'm asking, which ones are reliable and which ones aren't? Save me and everyone else the bother to read them. Ta.

Headlines aren’t written by the journos who write the story though. The subs frequently stitch the writers up with clickbait headlines.

Really hope we can offload him! He works very hard, runs the channels very well too, but he won't give us the needed goals unfortunately. At 31 too this is a nobrainer to me, SELL/GIVE AWAY! We also still have Diouf on our books so we have back up, but ideally both should go so we could bring in an upgrade.

Yeah.
No-brainer if true.
Probably on about £1m-a-year and we need all the leeway we can get in the budget for MON to bring in his choices and shed all the big earners who he doesn't really want around
Could be just 2+2=5 with the Millwall link, but hopefully not.
Nixon claims Cardiff after chasing Kieffer Moore from Wigan and have offered £2m

I like the lad, works hard, but doesn’t score enough and at 31 I’d take the cash. Can’t see us getting more than 1m though
