I’ve just watched it back on skysports, led with his elbow and smashed Lindsay when he was never gonna get there first. Dirty cunt 100% red

Didn't see that from my seat. Lindsay was very brave. He knew he was going to get hit there. Compare and contrast to batth who ducked under the ball off a corner.

Surely not for the clash of heads? Looked to me like he stamped on lindsay after the challenge. Anyone know? It was for dangerous play as his elbow was up and caught Lindsey in the head with it when going for the header

I haven’t seen any replays to make a comment, other than.......have you seen Stoke players react to an incident so strongly this season as they did today?
That may give an indication about whether or not there was intent

He’s not even looking at the ball Is he mimicking that lindsay is a cry baby at the end of that clip?

No questions about it after seeing a replay, elbow to the head and a potentially a very dangerous one.

Red all day. The dirty fucking southern cockney cunt. Surprised the ref took so fucking long to get the card out.

Lead with his arms with very little chance of winning the header (as seen from the stands) and looking at that replay doesn't even look at the ball as he knew he'd messed it up completely but still kept his elbows at neck height. Straight red any day of the week.

It was a vile cowardly act. Lindsay did well to get up. Questionable if he should have carried on tbh but I guess he passed the protocol. But it was horrible to see.

Was about 2 notches off being what that shithouse German keeper did all those years ago.

Massive credit to Lyndsay for being more concerned about winning the header than for his own welfare - he must have known he was going to get hit.
I doubt he realised how hard he was going to be hit though. It was a shocking challenge which could have done serious damage. It also looks like there was a sneaky stamp at the end of it.
Deserves a 4 or 5-game ban in my opinion.

What I couldn't believe was how incredulous every Millwall player and coach appeared to be. I know footballers would do a bit of kiddums even if he'd got out a chainsaw and hacked his legs off, but they seemed genuinely appalled that it was as much as a foul.

Thought Lindsay played quite well today and is getting better with a few games under his belt.

It looked like two players going flat out for the ball from our seat. The stamp looked worse than the challenge. I'd obviously not seen a replay when asking the question.

No questions about it after seeing a replay, elbow to the head and a potentially a very dangerous one. I said at the game I’m suprised Lindsey didn’t lose teeth. A truely horrendous ‘challange’.
