Both went home before the game which I find amazing in N’Goy’s case when he’s trying to get into the matchday squad

To be fair on both, if they cant get at least on the bench before Vokes, Ince and Gregory then who can blame them
The manager is improving us but boy does he have his blind spots

See how this effects his training and attitude, if he acts petulantly then it says all that needs to be said. As for Diouf I think Gregory is a better footballer so where does he really fit into the squad.

I can see why they wouldn’t want to stay.
I’d be fuming if I was either of them tbh.
But sometimes you just have to grin and bear it. As people have said, I can see why Diouf wouldn’t. Even for free that game wasn’t worth watching and going home and having a wank is a way better option. But yeah Ngoy needs to show a bit of willing. It’s not massive but it could be noticed and be a plus point.

Players that can’t be arsed to watch their own team mates make very clear their lack of interest in the club that funds their lifestyle.
If it’s true they should be fined. And probably need to go somewhere that interests them enough to spend two hours to see why they’re not in the team.

Says a lot about their attitude if they're so sulky they can't be arsed to cheer their team mates on. MON should have insisted they stay. Gouranga.

going home and having a wank is a way better option. Have you seen Mame's wife?

I would hope the manager was too busy watching the game to keep a watch on whether non-matchday squad players stay or go. It's probably written into their contracts that they must turn up and stay the course.

They are being criticised for going home. But do we know that that is true, and not just a rumour?

Think I'd be a bit pissed off myself.
Signing for stoke from Belgium in 2013 as a highly rated youngster labelled the best thing to come out of Belgium since lukaku, being shoddy handled by a club that doesnt know its arse from its elbow. Finally after 7 years get a cameo, the second or third cameo in 7 years, do well only to be dropped from the squad altogether for a guy sat on the bench that has done the bare minimum all season but earns probably 3 times more than me.
Got to be honest I'd be a bit disillusioned (putting it nicely) myself as my career is going down the shoot. This club is useless at bringing youth through. Look at collins now, I bet he wishes he had moved to man utd

They'd offer far more to the team than some that get regularly picked and played, but offer minimal.

and on the Edwards thread it says he went home too. So just maybe those not in the 18 are sent home,I don't know and you don't know either. Is it a big deal ? I wouldn't have thought so unless they are told to sit in the stands....well executive box more likely....and then go home
